Snakes and Ladders

Some of you may have chose this chapter as first, I hope to get more votesheets in the future to make this more fair in each category. I have omitted all dead sceners, groups and productions to keep this chapter as up-to-date as possible. Lets see what this issue brings.

Top Cracking Group:

Pos: Group: Pts:

1 Success+TRC 1296
2 Alpha Flight 839
3 Chromance 706
4 Legend 700
5 Triad 642
6 Talent 585
7 Avantgarde 455
8 Fairlight 348
9 TRSI 337
10 Excess 320
11 F4CG 226

Comments:
Well, the top 3 are about right although I think Chromance should be higher. Groups such as Legend and Triad are not active enough to maintain their positions. Whilst Avantgarde deserves higher placement. F4CG are coming on strong as well.

Top Single Crackers:

Pos: Handle/Group: Pts:

1 Burglar/SCS+TRC 998
2 Powerplant/Legend 837
3 Count Zero/Talent 490
4 XXX/Legend 435
5 Jack Alien/AVT 366
6 Hain/F4CG 364
7 Derby Ram/AVT 351
8 Bacchus/Fairlight 299
9 Bod/Talent 282
10 Chrysagon/Talent 261
11 Crossfire/Motiv8 247
12 Doc/Legend 215
13 Sauron 200

Comments:
Burglar and Powerplant still ruling the chart after many months. Bod shouldn't be in the chart at all! inactivity and lack of quality contribute to this. People such as Crisp/TRSI and Bacchus/FLT should be far higher.

Top Demonstration Groups:

Pos: Group: Pts: Last Ware:

1 Camelot 1270 Camel Park
2 Oxyron 1254 Comalight 12
3 Crest 1241 Wild
4 Censor 1076 Spasmolytic
5 Triad 928 Portfolio 2
6 Fairlight 851 Skaaneland
7 Antic 589 Lunacy 6
8 Topaz 508 Problem Child 2
9 Focus 318 No.13
10 Noice 267 Imse Vimse Get
11 Taboo 263 Wayne's Gfx Collection
12 Visual Reality 206 Visuality 3

Comments:
Camelot and oxyron are battling it out on the top 2 places with an inactive Crest close behind. Byterapers should be in the top 3 and Antic should be a little higher. Expect a certain outcome after The Tribute party is over. May the best win!

Top Programmers:

Pos: Handle/Group: Pts:

1 TTS/Oxyron 1233
2 Crossbow/Crest 995

9 Glasnost/Camelot 297
10 MMS/Taboo 278
11 Kingfisher/Triad 267
12 Flamingo/Light 246
13 Swoffa/Light 208

Comments:
Axis and Graham should be higher. Mr. Sex/Byterapers should be in the top 5. Zodiac and Crossbow are too inactive to be so high. Kingfisher should rise with the release of Refugee.

13 Reyn Ouwehand 262 ---
14 Deek/Crest 248 ---

Comments:
The Syndrom deserves number 1 with his nice tools and musical skill. PRI, Jeff and Zyron should be a bit higher. Morbid/Success+TRC should be here somewhere. Listen to the music in this issue!

Top Graphicians:

Pos: Handle/Group: Pts:

1 Creeper/Antic 1342
2 Electric/Extend 1086

10 Dane/Triad 296
11 Dragon/Censor 277
12 Atte/Extend 207

Comments:
The top 4 are pretty close, I think Electric will overtake Creeper. Cruise should be far higher and newcomers such as Fazee should also be in the charts. Where's Vodka?!!

1 Nitro/Excess 912 #17

Comments:
Network, Splash and A-Head should be lower. Magazines such as Revealed, Ingenious Brain and Reformation should be higher. Things will be interesting now with The Pulse dead. Where's Domination? :)

Top Mail Traders:

Pos: Handle/Group: Pts:

1 Calypso/AMN+SCL 554
2 NSD/SCS+TRC 405
3 Derby Ram/AVT 345
4 Splatterhead/<C> 256
5 Code 18 232
6 Malakai/Powerage 190
7 Clive/Motiv8 145
8 Spermbird/Excess 141
9 Ned/Accept 137
10 Spectator/SCS+TRC 130
11 Syco/Chromance 127
12 Acidchild/Taboo 126
13 Neotec/Rebels 122

Comments:
Spermbird should be a bit higher. Voting in this category is quite hard as friendship + quality + speed are taken into consideration, a friend might only send every two months but his sendings are the highest quality whilst someone else might send every week but same stuff as always with nothing exceptional. Who should you vote for?

Kind regards to the official spreaders of the Domination votesheet and to others who participated in helping create this chart. We are venturing into 1995 and the C64 scene is still going strong - be proud.
