New page

<pre>welcome to the interview section of this
issue.
i can assure you,i will be. editor.
what is your handle/group name?
-------------------------------
well david,my handle is as everybody
derbyshire ram,from the group illusion.

what is your real name?
-----------------------
barry joynes.

what do you do in your group?
-----------------------------
well in mainly do some cracking, also i
do some mail trading,as well as suppling
originals to our group.

in what country do you live?
----------------------------
the only place to live in england.

what is your height,weight,sex,d.o.b.?
--------------------------------------
well good question david, height is about
5'-11" (179cm),weight well lets just say
big,around 16 stone (122kg's),i think my
sex is male and my date of birth is 3rd
of january 1939.

what is your occupation?
------------------------
well,i am retired and loving it!
tell our readers about yourself?
--------------------------------
o.k. i am married and i have 5 kids and
we have 9 grand kids. my wife works at
our local post office, and i like trains,
(history of them etc) and photography.

how long have you been on the scene?
------------------------------------
i have been on the scene, since late 1982

what groups have you been in?
-----------------------------
started of in dominators, then went to a
group called deadline,&amp; now in illusion.
what hardware do you have?
--------------------------
3 64's,3 1541 mark 2's,action replay 5.0
and 4.42,expert catridge mps 801 printer
monitor. i use to use a data cassette
until 1985,then i got my first drive.

what do you think of the scene?
-------------------------------
good question,david. i don't like it a
lot at the moment,as they is quite a bit
of aggression going on,because there is
not a lot of software around,so a lot of
groups are turning on each other. there
is less wars today,then yesterday's.
there are a couple of rogues on the 64
scene, but they will eventually move on.
i would also like to see the scene get
quicker.

when you think of the scene, what do you
think of first?------------------------
---------------
mainly i think of cracking and looking
for new games.

what makes you tick?
--------------------
i suppose what makes me tick is the fact
that if it hadn't been for my ill health
i would not have got involved in the 64
scene to start with. also knowing what
i can do on the computer helps.

what makes you happy?
---------------------
lots of things make me happy david, but i
suppose, seeing lots of new wares makes
me very happy.

what makes you pissed off?
--------------------------
immature people on the 64 scene really
gets up my nose. also people who like
to slag off at other people for no good
reason at all.

do you have a wife/girlfriend?
------------------------------
yes,my wife's name is ann and she is the
same age as me,and really detests my 64
activities.

what is your aim in life?
-------------------------
to be happy,to maybe reach the 100 year
mark and to stay on the scene for as
long as i can. to see illusion weather
the storm we are having.

if you could change one thing in your
life,what would it be?---------------
----------------------
i would love to change my ill health,as
it is a pain in the butt.

if you change one thing on the scene,
what would it be?--------------------
-----------------
i would insist the software houses would
release more 64 wares.

name 3 things you can't live without?
-------------------------------------
definatley my beer,my family and my dog
monty. he is a patterdale terrier, named
after general montgomery.

name three things you can live without?
---------------------------------------
agro of any kind,if i had to i could
live without my beer, and i can really
live without lamers and the cold weather
in good old england.

if you were going to be executed, what
would be your last wish?-------------
------------------------
my last wish would be to have my good
health back,happiness to all my family &amp;
friends, and to put it bluntly,to kill
the executioner first.

how does money effect your life?
--------------------------------
a hell of alot actually,i would say at
least 99% of people would say that it
was money that made a big difference in
their lives and lifestyle.

who is the most influential person in
your life?---------------------------
----------
without a doubt david,it would have to
be sir winston churchill. the younger
sceners might know who he was, maybe not.

if you were on a island, what 3 things
would you have,and why?--------------
-----------------------
my wife for obvious reasons,an endless
supply of beer, and of course if i am
going to do a good job on myself,an
endless supply of smokes.

what is your greatest fantasy?
------------------------------
something i have dreamt about all my
life and i suppose everyone has this one
at least once in their life, and that is
to play football for my country and it
would be great to score a couple of
goals. it would also be great to play
cricket against you aussies and score a
double century. (dream on barry,ed)

if you had a million dollars, what would
you do with it?------------------------
---------------
if i had that much money, the first thing
i would do,would be to make sure all my
family had what they needed, and then i
would invest the rest, and live the life
of a retired king.

before we finish,is there anything you
want to say?--------------------------
------------
yes,i would like to say hi to all my
contacts and wish them many great times.

what is your favourite?
-----------------------
favourite meal.
