ok dudes, now to my favourite column,
INTERVIEW. this is the place for you to
get to know about other sceners. i have
decided to interview MEGAZZAP/PLX for
obvious reasons - he's a friend!!!

yep, we worked our ass off to make the
new format for LINK. megazzap has done
a superb job for the graphics. just look
at the menu screen.

ok we better roll on...
Q) please tell our readers a little
about your self?

A) well as you know my handle is
MEGAZZAP! my real name is greg newton
i'm 16 years old, my height is about
6'1, i have blond hair with blue eyes
and i take a shoe size 12!
well i think that explains everything
about me!

Q) how long have you been on the SCENE?

A) well i have nearly been on the scene
for a year now!
Q) in your opinion what can the scene do
to keep it's head above the water?

A) well for a start! all these girlie
wars have to stop and all the back
biters can fuck off!
we also need to stop producing so
many mags and start doing more
QUALITY demo's!

0) what jobs do you do in your group and
what have you been working on?

A) well for PARALAX i am main
graphician for the group and i also
do swapping!
and as you can see i have done this
issue of the link's graphix. i have
just finished the first issue of
PARALAX'S new mag CLASSIC graphix and
also i have many projects to be
finished that i have started for our
demo's

Q) where did you get your handle from?
and what inspired you to choose this
one!

A) well i first got the name ZZAP from
the euro paper mag, but then i found
out that someone else used the name
zzap! so i put mega in front to make
it: MEGAZZAP!

Q) tell us about what you do in real
life?

A) what's that! (only kidding)

well school also takes up heaps of
time these dayz, i play basketball
and like to draw in my spare time!

Q) what groups have you been in?

A) i first started off in a group called
GENIUS australia, then about three
months down the track i left and
because i accepted an offer to
join PARALAX instead.

then PARALAX joined force with TSR
for about a month when just recently
PARALAX went back to normal!

Q) what future do you see in your group
PARALAX?

A) well our group is going to
concentrate in doing demo's and not
so much cracking!
paralax in my opinion will go a long
way if we all stick together!

A) well i haven't had the chance to meet
any euro sceners but i have met ozzy

sceners at the AUSTRALIAN SCENE PARTY
on the 17TH and 18TH of JULY 1993.
so i hope all sceners reading this
will be there as it is going to be
a weekend to remember!

Q) tell us your favourite things (food,
drink, hobby!)

A) food: kentucky (i work there!)
chinese food!
anything goes!

drink: well after new years eve i
don't touch alcohol anymore, i
think i'll stick with soft
drink (COKE)

hobby: well my 64 and amiga ofcourse,
but as i said, i love playing
basketball, i like to draw and
meeting new people and also
talking on the phone!

Q) what displeases you the most about
the scene?

A) for a start, to many disk mags, not
enough demos, to many budgit games,
not enough quality games.
