well as 1992 comes to an end, we all
look forward to 93 with the hope that
the scene can survive yet another year.

over the past few months, the australian
scene has noticed the absents of many
groups who in the past have been active
but lately not a release.

it is clear that at this time only five
australian groups are active and keeping
the scene going. they are:

PARALAX
TSR
THE CURE
OFFENCE
HYPE

other groups such as BATTERY and
THE FORCE have seemed to disappear in
the later half of this year.
we all hope that they start up again
in 93 and help us keep the aussie scene
alive.

NEW ZEALAND is showing dramatic signs
of growth now with an ever increase
of releases of good quality. some of
these groups such as SYSTEM and ROTEC
are really leaving some of our aussies
for dead as far as their energy and the
release of good magazines and demos.

you may have noticed, THE LINK has
grown into 14 chapters. these include
some articles downloaded from amiga for
you enjoyment. the remaining text has
also increased in most chapters giving
me a slight problem this month as to
how i was going to squeeze it all in

we have another new format for ISSUES
EIGHT & NINE these will be returning
to the icon system with a title for
each picture displayed so as not to
confuse the readers. we look forward
to your reactions in 93.

also in 93, TSR will be setting some
records as far as magazine releases.
with the release of LINK 8 this will be
the most magazine issues released for a
single aussie mag. we look forward
to that milestone.

we must apoligise for the delay of
SINISTER. we are taking a great deal
of time and care with this release.
the graphics have been done by our
best graphics people STALKER,ORACLE
and ROGUE and the music has been
written by ATOM. i have coded the main
routines and a special effects man
we like to call VACUUM is doing the
impossible. as we do each part the
effects are getting better and better.
you may have noticed the PARALAX
CLASSIC demo we did. the space bar
routine is just one of the many
special effects coming.

talking about CLASSIC. we all look
forward to PARALAX releasing this new
and interesting mag. we offer all our
support to this group which has grown
over the past months to become a
challenger to the top places of the
aussie charts. GOOD LUCK PARALAX and
we wish your new 64 leader ERRATIC all
the luck and good fortune for 93.

opportunity to wish all our readers a
very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a safe and
happy NEW YEAR.
