SOME KEYS HAVE TROUBLE WORKING....&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
open up your case and remove key pad.&lt;br /&gt;
desolder the wires on the back of the&lt;br /&gt;
SHIFT LOCK key. unscrew the million&lt;br /&gt;
screws and remove circuit board.....&lt;br /&gt;
clean board with ALCOHOL or METHO.&lt;br /&gt;
clean key pads CAREFULLY with a dam&lt;br /&gt;
cloth. use a pencil rubber if abrasion&lt;br /&gt;
is required. RECLEAN with metho etc put&lt;br /&gt;
it all back together again.. repeat if&lt;br /&gt;
HOW DO I CLEAN DISK DRIVE HEADS?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
if a cleaning disk fails. remove the&lt;br /&gt;
top cover of your drive. lift open heads&lt;br /&gt;
and examine surface. you should see a&lt;br /&gt;
CLEAN WHITE surface with a BLACK LINE&lt;br /&gt;
across it from left to right.&lt;br /&gt;
clean with a SOFT CLOTH using ALCOHOL or&lt;br /&gt;
METHO.&lt;br /&gt;
you may use toothpaste and a soft cloth&lt;br /&gt;
if abrasion is necessary. be sure to&lt;br /&gt;
clean off toothpaste with alcohol etc.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
MY C64C has NO SOUND&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 1. check the FUSE inside the keyboard.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 2. check POWER SUPPLY for 9 volt&lt;br /&gt;
    output.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 3. check MONITOR and CABLES.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 4. replace SID CHIP as this is the only&lt;br /&gt;
    chip that uses the 9 volt supply.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 how do i turn my MOUSE into a JOYSTICK?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 1. switch off computer.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 2. plug MOUSE into the JOYSTICK PORT.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 3. hold down SELECT BUTTON on mouse&lt;br /&gt;
    (not the fire button) and switch&lt;br /&gt;
    the computer on.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 4. the MOUSE is now connected into the&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 how do i install a RESET switch?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 1. purchase a momentry on push button&lt;br /&gt;
    switch.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 2. look into the back of the USER PORT.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
 3. connect the wires to the top left&lt;br /&gt;
    pad and the third in from the top&lt;br /&gt;
    left. secure the switch and your&lt;br /&gt;
    off...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
       press SPACE for main menu&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
