hi,people.the news chapter of this
issue was edited by nightshade/scs
trc.you are likely to expect coool
and very hot news from now,as they
will be gathered from the boards.i
still do count on the news written

ONSLAUGHT

the forming of this new group is
probably the most important
happening this month.with talent
dying and legend not performing
anything,jazzcat,majesty&vengeance
decided to build up a new force
into the world of cracking,(bb)ing
vengeance took his australian mate
morbid/scstrc with him.from talent
count zero,chrysagon,ignorance and
morrisey came along,making down by
law,the former talent h.q. theirs.
from chromance homeboy,chotaire,
sphere and (later)stake joined in,
making the pirate island one of
their euroboards.heavy head joined
making his board westpoint also an
onslaught board,only he kept cml
on there aswell.also,deekay/crest,
smd/atlantis,bizarre/trance,death-
lok/padua,shade/sunbeat and insane
of shazam joined in.they started
off real well by releasing castor
preview of misfortune.with two of
the leading boardmagazines under 1234
their label we can expect a great 2
amount of activity from diz group..
last changes are kbs who joined in
and ignorance already leaving for
alphaflight'70.

SUCCESS+TRC

it seems that the success of this
co-operation doesn't stop,with a
steady flow of games,mostly fixed
by their euro-fixers cba,moren,and
burglar.they seem to able to fight
back to remain their top position
in the charts;although,several
people in the scene seem to be en-
vious,which resulted in their ushq
the dungeon being formatted twice
in the period of only one week !!!
vengeance and morbid left the coop
for onslaught , while splatterhead t
and lcf teamed up to strengthen'em
because of the importance of the
internet,cba've started an illegal
site,where all scs+trc cracks can
be found,but also most of da other
wares being released on the c-64!!
at the 22nd and 23th of april,they
will organise a party togetha with
focus.for more details,read the
party invitation being released in
march.

CHROMANCE

with the competition getting
stronger and stronger,some groups
byte the dust.it all started with
jazzy d and mr.wax doing their
civil service.it is no secret that
mr.wax has been the main person
behind this hungarian.so other had
to take over da organisation.those
were splatterhead and stake.as
their polish members left'em some
months ago to join success+trc,
splatterhaed did the same,taking
lcf along with him.so now syco has
taken his place over.shuze/lazer
joined in as english suplier,being
the only positive thing for <c*
diz month.along with da forming of
onslaught,chotaire,homeboy,sphere
joined in,later followed by stake.
homeboy is still in chromance as
his 2nd group,but what will happen
when he gets a first-release.will
he supply it 2 onslaught or to his
second group chromance ??

TALENT

things haven't been going so well
in talent lately, with bod doing
nothing at all,and majesty being
busy with other things such as
moving houses.it was only a matter
of time.talent had announced their
death at the party in herning.
majesty formed onslaught together
with vengeance and jazzcat.he took
ignorance,count zero,chrysagon,and
morrisey along with him.this also
meant that down by law is no longa
the talent hq.before chrysagon and
ignorance went to onslaught.they
had a short stay in dytec;although
their death has been announced,bod
and greenhog still seem to be part
of talent,but i do not think that
talent will ever reach the top
position they'd once achieved.just
look back to one of the best coop
ever... ikari+talent.now that all
seems so far away,and the last re-
maining part of that co-operation
seems to be gone,aswell.

GENESIS PROJECT

as long as we're talking about old
legends ; here is another one that
went down the drain.with their
slogan 'europes #1',and with anti-
christ ruling the group and their
magazine sex'n'crime.they've been
a great sparring-partner for many,
many groups in the scene.but with
sex'n'crime making place for the
corruption (which later changed
into propaganda),and antichrist
leaving for the u.s.,not much has
been happening around the group
anymore.so they died peacfully and
most of the members (motley,scope,
newscopy,and walker) joined f4cg.
the ministry (jayce and markus)
teamed up with onslaught and jucke
remains independent.the same as da
magazin propaganda.tranzie is also
an independent editor for the mag,
which got released some days ago.

DYTEC

after the coop with trsi split up,
there is not much action from the
boardwise.of course,they still kik
ass with great versions of the
games being released,but as we do
speak of firstreleases,not much is
seen from'em.it seems they'd both
complex and heavenbound as firsts,
but as they were not able to up -
load them,scs+trc and avantgarde
released the games as first.for a
short time,chrysagon and ignorance
joined in,but after another short
while they left for onslaught.

FANTASTIC FOUR CRACKING GROUP

f4cg seems to be one of the stead-
iest groups lately.with originals
from poland and the software label
cherry software,they almost rule
the market.their only problem seem
to be getting their wares fixed.
with cerebus,an australian fixer,
joining in,that seems to be solved
for the time being.moloch left the
group,but still seems to support
the group,as they released a prv.
from crazy cars,a game by thresh
hold productions,da software label
of moloch.druid/agony joined them,
but after his game,coldiadus,being
unsold ( while he did not get any
money from cherry software ) , he
left again.

as written before the g>p members,
newscopy,motley,walker,and scope
joined in.also antitrack seems to
be doing something else than just
hanging around on irc again.he did
release a game called jumpball.
hopefully,some more will be seen
from this great cracker again !!

f4cg is not sharing an ushq called
dreampark together with avt. the
sysop is cyborg.

MOTIV8

after a period of silence around
this group,they seem to be back.
with mizar joining,it seems that
crossfire has got cards again to
call the us-boards.his board,inter
trade,became a motiv8 board.also,
iceball,who left m8 some time ago
for fairlight,is back on board !!

AVANTGARDE

also they became active again.not
that they were not doing much,but
they'd started so strong,it looked
as if they had reached their top
and were slowly going down again.
but they seems to be as strong as
before.skinhead and skidrow left
afl'70 and joined them,and started
off real well by releasin a polish
game completely fixed aswell.also,
jack alien got himself a ntsc chip
and started fixing.nastiness inc.,
according to deff,got kicked out
of avantgarde,and formed a new
group called angry.but nastiness
claims he left by himself.

then there is steve,who was going
to the states to have a great life
with vicky.he actually did go to
the states,but he came back for
some surgery and will most likely
not go back to the states , as his
study is going rather well.maybe
vicky will come over to the uk,but
only time will tell.

HARDCORE

there are only two things... they
announced that they will release a
demo very soon,and a mag called
zensored will hit the scene in the
followin days.furthermore,rage and
volunteer/flt also joined them.

ALPHAFLIGHT'70

with skinhead and skidrow leaving,
the important part of the group is
lost.also,rumours are going around
that marc and max are gonna stop,
and styx will become the organiser
but these are unconfirmed rumours.
with peacemaker joining the army,
calypso joined.he is a well known
megaswapper,but he started fixing.
he is likely to drop most of his
contacts to concentrate on his new
job.he remains in amnesia as his
second group.ignorance has left da
onslaught to join alphaflight'70.
it seems he really has been group
jumping lately.

the diskmagazin relax was released
lately under the bad bytes label,
which is the software label of the
vengeance and morbid.as they also
claim to have official right for
that name,it may stir up some dust
i guess.

ATLANTIS

this group also went through some
changes.smd,the grafics duo from
stiff and mercy left them to team
up with onslaught.it looks like
every group has lost some members
to the newcommer.according to the
robocop,the whole rebels crew has ecy
joined atlantis,leaving rebels,as
the third dead group this month.
newspress will be released under
the atlantis label.didi/laxity has
joined in.

well,these were the most important
happenings in da top crack groups.
hopefully,i didn't forget anhthing
of importance.if you find any mis-
stakes,then leave me e-mail on the
dungeon or to my address which you
should be able to find in the addy
chapters.(ed.thanx,pal)

that was all we got except some
last minute news from nightshade,
and digahole.they are...

< skinhead and skidrow decided to
leave avantgarde again to rejoin
alphaflight'70.(ed.some people
are really jumping nowadays)

< vibrants show some activity
again.they have released a music
pack with several new tunes and
some oldies a few days ago.hope-
fully,some more action will come
from them.

< mr.rage and liquid of excess
left the scene while h-bloxx
from f4cg joined up with'em.
they have just released their
mag,nitro.

< the ignorance joined afl'70.

< starkiller/ex-afl'70 is back in
the scene.

< mistadabolina joined avantgarde.

< the pirate island was down for
three weeks. (that's why i kept
hearing that recorded message!)
