WITTY'S CHAPTER

hello and feel welcome once a-
gain to another chapter witty's.
this time i will speak more about
the australian scene in general,
and not as much about our country
as it seems the last two times i
have done this chapter i have spo-
ken not much of the australian
scene.so to start...

let me tell you of the groups
currently in australia.fully made
groups are lithium,bodycount,tsr,
paralax,breeze designs,hype,bat-
tery,msr,false motion(ex-force)
and probably some more.but they a-
re certainly the main ones.

also...there are certain divi-
sions of groups such as wow,clique
triad...(and once illusion...)

so things are not all that bad
in this country at the moment.now
i will tell you about some of the-
se groups.

LITHIUM:has some good members like
druid(one of the best coder in a-
ustralia),slortibartfast(probably
the coder who gave battery most of
its fame and a great coder),cruze,
decoy,me(witty-but also in wow)
and more(a new zealand section).
allup probably one of the best in
the aussie scene and could become
number 1 if they release enough of
there quality.

BODYCOUNT:this group is good too.
it has the best aussie musicians
in it.(namely pearl/bodycount)also
has a nice mag called vandalism
news.but the group is let down a
bit with coders.but recently psyc-
ho(ex-force) joined them.so he
should add some spark with his re-
al time vectors,plasmas etc.allup,
a good group in australia which
also is up there with lithium and
could be number one if they relea-
se!

TSR:well...not a bad group.this is
probably where the majority of the
scene comes from.incubus used to
be the main coder in tsr,but left
the scene.so i don't know if they
still have a good coder?but yet
their magazine the link still li-
ves on.tsr was ince the most pro-
mising groups on the 64 aussie
scene,but seems to have died in
the bum a bit since members lea-
ving.but good old uptonogood(lea-
der) keeps on fighting on.keep it
going!!

PARALAX:another big group like tsr
they are ok,but only seem to make
cracks.(as they have no coders?)
well they could be a good group if
they tried with guys like qwetzel
who can do world firsts.but it is
just the lazyness factor i guess.
overall,an ok group but too many
lame members.

MSR:has a good coder in tbm...but
as active as blackmail(hehe)...but
still the group has talent if they
want to use it.

HYPE:news has it that only deadbo-
ne is the only member left.but he
is a good graphixman,so they will
live as long as he can draw some-
thing i guess.(and get a displayer
coded...)

BREEZE:has a major aussie talent,
who draws,composes and codes all
in the one breathe as its sole
member.yep(metro) is a very capab-
le guy of getting breeze in the
top 3 groups in australia by him-
self but he will have to be very
active i think.maybe if he got so-
me more kicking members in breeze
it would be a very good group!

FALSE MOTION:this is the group so
called formed by the old force
members.but i can't see much po-
tential here,as they are too inac-
tive.(even though they have good
yet old scener members.)

no more comments from me.but
just some news and rumours.

the magazine violation may re-
turn to the scene,as 8-ball,maxell
slash/ex-cure are expected to re-
turn to the scene.they are rumou-
red to come back soon,form a new
group with caine/hype and release
it.(hope so...bcoz violation is a
great magazine,which is quite un-
deratted through europe and deser-
ves more recognition.)

caine/hype supposingly rang up
metro/breeze to ask him if he wo-
uld ask deadbone/hype into his
group,bcoz he don't like him.(for
some reason,something has crawled
high into caines ass and he has
turned into a dickweed.)don't ask
me why but he seems to have some-
thing against everyone in austalia
(even me-which i don't have the
slightest clue about) smarten up
caine.you are a good grafixer,co-
der,but don't abuse that fact.what
caused the change?

psycho/bodycount has a demo
planned for release in april 93.it
is supposingly gonna have real ti-
me vectors,plasmas and much more
cool stuff.

jeroen tel is supposingly co-
ming to australia later in the ye-
ar(or next year) and there will be
a big party hopefully in newcastle
around the time...(the first aus-
sie party in two years!?!?!)

so that ends this chapter for
this month.if this chapter is re-
leased before horizon/party remem-
ber us aussies here,and how we
would really like to be there me-
eting you all...(but unfortunately
that can't be with expensive air
prices throughout the world!so you
must come here!!!!
