Another issue, another chapter by the main-editor
himself. Welcome to another trip into the world of the
wacky Biz man!! Welcome to:

THA BIZ-MIX
THA BIZ-MIX

So what does I have on my mind for this time. Well a
little of this and a little of that, I guess!!! So why
don't we simply get started.

Last time I started this chapter by mentioning the
fine and hot weather we had. Regrettably the summer
is over for this year. That's life, and there's nothing
we can do about it, and besides then we can't allow
us to complain about it beeing over. This were one of
the hottest summers we have had for a very looong
time.. Ok, enough about the weather for now.

In the last issue I spoke about the fact that Pulse
had used the vote-points from two issue of Skyhigh
for one of their own chart-chapters. I haven't heard
from any of the Pulse staff-members, and this is not
an attempt to rub more salt into the sore.
(In the meantime I have heard from Duke who backed
me up 100% and thanked for the information. He said
that it would be corrected in the future). The reason
why I mention it, is that another scener has noticed
the same thing. This person is no-one else than my
group-pal Metal. And ofcourse he had noticed this as
well (I mean, being a Camel himself, it is rather natu-
ral!!). He pointed out the exact same thing for me, at
one of our telephone-chats.. But enough about that!
What really has to be mentioned is another thing he
said or complained about!! Why isn't Camelot in the
charts??? He had never seen an issue of Skyhigh un-
till I sent himm issue #18!! Buuuaaaahhhh, I have been
doing my mag for such a long time, and then he tells
me that he had never seen it before, snif snif.. How
can that happen?? Well, nevermind, back to the text!
He was wondering why Camelot wasn't represented in
any of the chart-categories. He believed that the
time where the maker of the mag wasn't represented
was long over. I explained that it depends. Some mag
does include their own group + members/prods, and
some (like Skyhigh) doesn't. He continued : "I thought
this was a finished period, it only were back in the
time were people (editors) cheated the charts." Well
what could I say?? I don't know that any of my fel-
low editors are cheating with the charts, and neither
do we. I told him, that by excluding Camelot no-one
could come and accuse us for cheating.
See in most of the other magazines Camelot are on
the top-spot. Try to imagine if the people voted Cml
as the best on the Skyhigh sheets, or evne worse:
if the sceners vote Skyhigh as the best mag. I can
quite clearly see what will happen if Skyhigh is on the
1st place. I (or maybe Caprice Design!) will be accused
of cheating.. Being realistic as I am, I know that some
sceners will start nagging and complaning about this
very soon, if...
So to prevent Skyhigh for all the trouble I think the
solution will be to continue just like now. Sure I
would love if we could have all groups (including our
own!!) represented. Unfortunately I don't believe it's
possible. So until then, we will continue as now..

BUT, I would very much like to hear your point of view
concerning this matter. Do you think we should start
counting Camelot and its products again, or shall we
continue as now???

Please send your reactions to this addy :

Or if you know one of your contacts are swapping
with me, then simply give it to him/her and tell them
to include it on their disk..

Ok lemme change the subject a bit.
As you all know then I bring all the reactions which I
get from all of you out there. To my big surprise I
see in another scene magazine that they do not need
to bring this in their mag. The mag (which by the way
is no-one else than Relax!) say that they do not need
this diskfiller in their mag. They don't need all these
persons saying that their mag is the best, and that
the readers love their mag. In short they don't want
a chapter filled with unnecessary ass kissing. WHAT!!
how can they say so?? Reactions or feedback as I al
so call it, is not a waste of disk space!!! Sure there
are a lot of roses in such a chapter! No doubt about
that! But doesn't this simply tell that you are doing
a great job? Somehow I think they overlook the fact
that a lot of constructive reactions are very neces-
sesary for the future of the magazine. In the end it
is all about pleasing the readers, isn't it! If he peo-
ple don't like this or that in your magazine, the simp-
ly don't read it, and then the trouble begins. Becoz
now no one wants to send you reactions or other con
tributions at all.. Otherwise you will have to 'fuck'
all the readers and just do it as you want.
This sounds ok to me, but damn it is a lot harder to
make it a successful magazine - believe me!! So what
is the point of all this you ask! Well I guess the point
is that I don't think reaction or my other chapter :
'Thanx to' is a waste of disk-space, and totally un-
necessesary. Actually I see these chapters as being
VERY important. In other words : I do not feel too
good or too elite to bring this in my magazine, and I do
not see it as a waste of time, nor as an attempt to
earn a few cheap points.... Nuff said!!

Change of subject...

Last time I mentioned that I had my right nibble pier-
ced. I have got some reactions back on that!! One
said that it was ok, and that he knew other pierced
people, some with it other places than in the nibble
(face or belly aswell!!! -bk!) So where that might be,
is up to you to imagine he-he. Another friend of mine;
Junkie of Atlantis wrote following to me in his note:

I know it is a stupid question, but I have to ask you if
it hurts. Well first of all Pasi, it is not a stupid que-
stion!!! And second : yes it does hurt. Not that it hurt
that much, but yes it does hurt. I will rather get tat-
tooed than pierced - no shit. Actually you can com-
pare these two things a bit. When they put the needle
or the 'tattoo-gun' to your skin it hurts a bit.
Ofcourse the tattooneedle doesn't go so far into the
flesh, so it's not quite the same. But what they have
in common is that as soon they remove the needle the
pain disappears. Ofcourse it will be sore for a while
but that really isn't anything. But, ok I couldn't
sleep on my ring for the first week or so. Now it does
not matter anymore. For those who have been think-
ing of having a piercing or a tattoo I can only say:
Think real hard, and only let a PROFFESIONAL do it!!!
Otherwise some scratcher can mess up your skin real
bad... Believe me I have seen some real shit along the
way. So having one of these things done should be
planned and NOT done when being drunk!!!

--------------------------------------------

In the last issue I forgot to mention the creditz...
Some people has noticed it too,and informed me about
it. What ofcourse should have been mentioned was
that the Skyhigh-logo was done by my fellow editor:

CUPID
CUPID

I guess most sceners already knew that, but still I
think I'll mention it here. About the other credits,
well the composers where in the infor-line, and the
rest; hmm see the editorial for this issue and figure
it out yourself.

Another change of subject.

As some might have seen by now, then I were inter-
viewed for the Pulse this month... Surprise !!! I have
always said that I wasn't so keen on this mag, and
then, suddenly, I am in the mag.. A sellout?? FUCK NO.
If you read the interview, you will see that I end the
interview by saying that I find The Pulse boring. So
no ass kissing there. BUT... I must admit that after
this mag returned from the break, now with a new out
fit (with a bad logo though!) and with a change of con
tents I like it a lot more. So all there is to it, is to
give it another chance from my side.

Ok this is all from the Biz man for this time. I will end
this by saying that you should look out for the next
issue, which should be one heck of a surprise.

L8r dudes...
