hello there!
this is twynn/SHINE and i proudly pre-
sent the world famous: "SEX'N'CRIME"!!
i know,you may remember AMOK'S sex'n'
crime,but this is not the same.. we in
shine thought it was a good idea to con-
tinue this GREAT magazine. as we didn't
know on which number the last sex'n'cr.
ended,we started over at #100! so this
is no joke or fake,but just done to keep
it easy for you! anyway,i hope you like
this issue,and vote for it in the charts
of all magazines! in the next issues we
will make voted charts,in this issue the
charts are SLICE'S favourites (we don't
have any votes)... read on for more info

==About Shine==

ABOUT SHINE!

you may have hear already of shine. that
may be sure possible! shine is a new
very cool crew from holland. we will do
very cool demo's,cracks,musics and gfx!
we also have the magazine "epistula",
but as we didn't get much good reactions
on it,we also started SEX'N'CRIME again.
epistula also had some bugs,but it where
some little error's by me (twynn) and i
am sorry for that! if we will release
another issue of epistula,it all will be
fixed. a new maincode is comming!
we had a little war with F4CG,but when
dues called F4CG they said sorry and now
all problems are solved. we have some
very good members in shine. like MOUSE,
who is one good guy of a swapper. and
me,TWYNN,will do some codes. i will do
the cool work (demo's,difficult code)
and DUES will code the intros.we decided
to not letting dues do any graphics be-
cause they where not that cool. RIPPER
renamned to NANTCHO and joined WOW.

==Rumours and News==

-ROUMORS AND NEWS-

-PROXYON made the trouble between SHINE
and F4CG. proxyon made the anti-shine
demo,and asked many swappers to drop
SHINE swappers. PXN will now be in war
with shine,and shine is helped by f4cg!

-rumours saying IKARI will come back are
thrue! RCS alread joined,and more will
come soon.

-711 renamed intro ARCON,died,and most
members joined VARSITY. our friend
VECTOR (which is in shine also,under
a other handle) is the main coder.

-DEADLINE is in co-op with ARCADE.They
already made some firstreleases like
bodsquad,addams family,arnie and more!

-NDC still excists.all shine members are
still in ndc.

-CRUISE/ex-AC quit the scene.

-rumours said that ACORN of SHINE rip-
ped musics from BRAIN/GRAFFITY. this is
not true! the megalamer PREDIKANT of
VAGABONDS spread this!

-JESUS (ex-obituary) left to join SILI-
CON LIMITED. he is a gfx'er and a swap-
per. by the way the summer scl party
is cancelled because of some internal
problems.

-EXTREME died. swave went to chromance,
but is also in SHINE under a other han-
dle. communist joined F4CG,while DJ and
EYE build up BRAINSTORM. the AUDIENCE
joined sunrise.copkiller,lifestyle,b-
wyze and delta joined succes. after a
while delta left to join LEGEND.

-BULLET PROOF is dead...

-BAZE/brutal joined ILLUSION!

-ILLUSION is back! They already kick
some ass..

-MEGA industries gave the first release
of creatures ii to illusion.success had
the pal-first release.

-a new origanisation is born. it is cal-
led SCENE POLICE and is done by shine
members. we take care about many things
like first releases,wars and more. we
hope you like it!

-SUCCESS has a new swapper. He,PYLEWYLER
has got already about 150 contacts.

-SUCCESS may have a co-op party with
VAGABONDS. it will take place at the
end of the summer vacation.

-GENESIS made a anti-NEI demo.

-INC is rebuild. not all original mem-
bers are in,but they will come in la-
ter! they take care of SHINE,WOW and
X-FACTOR first releases.

ANTIDEMO released by shine,we will re-

SEPULTURED/DEATH

well,this demo by death is not one to
shout about. it has got some nice parts
in it but the sounds are mostly rippen.
the logos are (not all but most of 'em)
very cool,i must say that. i know,i gave
some critic but after all,this is a
very nice demo,and worth seeing many
times over!

==Scene Police==

first of all,let me explain what this
is.
there are SO many wars in the scene,
and i thought we should make a sort of
politic group. i think the important
reason that there are wars is that there
are no real rules.

now me made a federation,SCENE POLICE,
and we will look if everything is all
right in the scene. we will solve wars
and we decide when a first release is
a first release.

well,to make this boring story short,
here are the rules:

1.) only PLAYABLE previews can be first-
released.a un-playable first release
doesn't count.

2.) FAKE LABELS won't increase the group
's position in the charts. it only
works negative. fakelabels are lame
and of no need.

3.) a first release can be fixed by the
group itself too. when you put a
little fixintro infront of it (for
shine that is SHINING IMPORTS,beside
INC).

4.) you may not change your handle be-
fore you say it to us. we can store
this and send the right info to all
the magazines.

we hope you obey the rules!

this may sound very lame,but it's very
important to c!ntrol your joystick in
100 procent positive ways.

we have tested the games on the folow-
ing games:

MS.PACMAN (for reaction speeB)
RUBICON (for shoot-em-up qality)
GEOS (for poiting qality)
TETRIS (for precision qality)

here we go with the first joystick:

THE ARCADE

this jo-stick is real cool. all the game
had good results. fine playing,good grip
and easy to hold in your hands.
the only fuckyducky is that you only can
use one of the two buttons at one time,
but it is very good eventually. in geos
we had less good results. it becomes bo-
ring becouse the stick reacts slow.
but after all,it is a joystick to relea-
se your agresion on.
