thank you for noting your opinion in
the mailbox instead of slagging us off.
as a matter of fact all this was just a
big mess-up. see, our utility was in one
of your compilations. we felt quite
honoured as our multi tool wasn't that
good anyway as you already mentioned
before. well, our intro was removed and
i just talked about that with MCA. he
said, it was NOT coded by AMOK but by
a member of PARAMOUNT. so, i got pretty
angry and all this "stealing-story" got
started. later he said it was not him
to steal our file but you. finally all
was cleared up: it was you to WRITE the
SELECTOR, not the tool. so, nothing was
stolen, you just removed our intro and
due to a missunderstanding we thought
PARAMOUNT claimed to be the author of
our program but MCA just said that you
wrote the main-program and that was true
of course. i hope everything has been
cleared up now.

dear BIG BEN of 711, i feel very sorry
about the trouble we had for so many
months now. you've been a victim of our
wrath due to many lies that people told
me about you. we now know that it was
not you to send those lies about COSMOS
to us. accept my apologise, please...
if there would be more people like you,
the scene might be a little better.

* RUMOURS AND NEWS *

SAMPOX was kicked out of CRAZY.

some austrian lamers pretended to be
ex-GENESIS members and joined X-LARGE.

MARXISTS claimed to be able to join
CONTEX at any time and that they would
kick our the "lamers" from CLEAR. in
fact CLEAR are pretty good coders and
sure deserve to be CONTEX members. on
the other hand MARXISTS are former
DUST members ! (laaaaaaaame...) SCRAP
declared he would leave CONTEX at once
if any MARXISTS-lamer would ever be
able to join CONTEX. BUD joined and
SERVANT left them.

THE JOKER CREW claimed to be no.1 in
turkey now after CHAOS #1 split up.
in fact they have stolen MANY routines
from several groups ! so, poor turkey
if these faggits are no.1 down there.

TANKARD was kicked out of ILLUSION.

a new lamer-wave invades germany...
complete lamers try to get the fame of
some old legends by "rebuilding" FUSION,
EAGLE SOFT, PANINARO and SECTION 8.
lame, lame, lame...

MODESTY of VISION joined PARAGON.

HENRY left GENESIS. he became legal and
started coding games for AMOK.
LADY BINAER was kicked out of GENESIS
about 4 months ago as she had no special
abilities exept for being a girl. she
now joined ACID and they are even proud
of that. they claim that LADY BINAER
left voluntary as she prefered ACID
rather than GENESIS. ACID even wrote in
their magazine NEWS ON DISK that they
finally managed to "rule the c64" as
they are "on the top" now !! hahaha...
sure they are on the top... on top of
ALL LAMER-CHARTS !! lame pretenders...

according to SYNDICATE the other members
had no right to kick him out. afterwards
he decided to reform DYNAMIX. CHRIS the
beatmashine, MAGIC CIRCLE and a yet
unknown new musician are the only
members right now. SUCCESS seems to
get into some trouble lately as
ROY left SUCCESS, became legal and
joined AMOK, went illegal again and
rejoined DYNAMIX. TIM actually was not
kicked out but secretly changed his name
into POMPOM and joined ROYALTY together
with HERO, FATE and some more former
BABOONS-members. some rumours say that
some people rebuilt BABOONS now...
TMB (ex-SUCCESS) and some other guys
formed a new group, called ARCANA.

OLI and BAAL (former WOT+ZEB) joined
DEFENSE, went to NEON, SPOCK left NEON
and joined CRAZY, OLI and BAAL left
NEON and joined F4CG, left again and
now joined a new group, called ABYSS
together with NARC and ANTHRAX (former
ROUGH TRADE) and MR.STACK (ex-GALAXY).

PARSON and LEE GRAND, both former
members of DREAM joined WWE.
DR.HOOK (ex-DAMAGE) joined WWE.
MERLIN (ex-CHEYENS) changed his name
into TWS and joined WWE aswell.
KWI of WWE got married a couple of
weeks ago !!! congratulations !!

the POWERS OF PAIN might join ATG or
at least start a co-operation with them.

SONNY of TRC (ex-BONSAI) joined GENESIS
on amiga and now tries to build up an
amiga-section of GENESIS, together with
VEDA of GENESIS. in fact SONNY is still
a member of TRC on c-64.

TWP was kicked out of ACTION.
a certain DR.DEATH (?) founded a
FEDERATION AGAINST SPITFIRE and promised
to beat him up in venlo (23.12.89) !

note this: NOT ORC was the one to do all
those decent graphics in SOPHISTICATED 3
but ROBERT ION ! ORC is pretty good
aswell, but not as brilliant as ROBERT.

a new group was built in australia,
named THE TRENDIES.

DOMINO and PARADROID (ex-ONLINE) joined
PARAMOUNT. MANIAC was kicked out.

* NEWS AND PREVIEWS: *

soon we in AMOK will release a couple
of games. so, watch out for:

WOODY THE WORM is a game with 14 levels.
each level is a maze which contains
little riddles. nice graphics from
THORSTEN GROSCH and fab music from
JESPER OLSEN and STEFAN SIEGERT.

KILLOZAP is a shoot'em up with dozens of
levels. it was coded by JENS KLEINHOLZ
with cool music from JESPER OLSEN and
great graphics by MARKUS BURGHART.

BALL MANIA is a game similar to TETRIS.
no special sense, just a little arcade
to test your skills. very good graphics
by OLIVER MALMS. the funky music was
done by the very THOMAS MOGENSEN.

WAR BALL once more has some very good
music by JESPER OLSEN and cool graphics
by CHRISTIAN LAUFS. you are hopping
around in some very big and good looking
multi-screen levels and gotta catch some
extras. a bit like ANTIRIAD or HAWKEYE.

ARCADE SPRINT is a racing game. each
course is a big 16-colours multi-screen
level with cool music from JESPER OLSEN.
great graphics were done by HIRES. all
coding by his brother OLLE. this game
is comparable to GRAND PRIX CIRCUIT.

well, we got many more game projects
but i won't mention them here as they
have yet not been started. anyway, you
can expect a lot more nice games from us
in the future. maybe even i will find
time to make graphics again if i will
decide to quit SEX'N'CRIME. but, as you
know, that depends on YOU. we first
intended to sell our CRAZY PAGE WRITER
but now decided just to spread it.
so watch out for that one aswell...
we are also planning to release a
LOGO CONSTRUCTION KIT, some new MUSIC
EDITORS, a very flexible GAME MAKER
and many more, but precise informations
are still classified to prevent possible
imitation. we might even start coding a
couple of demos. but we're not sure yet.

the paper-magazine "SMASHER" will from
now on be released under the AMOK label.

well, you all remember the scandal of
FIRST STRIKE, right ?! now the same
happened again, this time with the
hungarian game "THE LAST FIGHT". this
game has only been released in hungary.
QUALITY trained and code-protected
their crack. in fact they now found
their code in versions from PARAMOUNT,
ORION and many more. so, either all
these people recracked the QUALITY
version or somebody recracked it and
then sold it as an original. anyway,
that recracker must have been a complete
lamer as the end-screen was destroyed in
all recracked versions. laaaaaaaaame...
the scene definitely sucks nowadays.

the TRANSCOM party was pretty lame. a
pity as it all seemed so well arranged
when i received that decent invitation.
not too many people had been there, some
said this was caused by another party
which was held at the same time in
austria. but, as a matter of fact there
haven't been too many famous people
aswell. reason might be that most people
concerned in computer do live in the
north of europe and they actually prefer
to join parties in northern europe.
well, back to the TRANSCOM-party...
X-RATED won the demo-competition but
did not gain the award (amiga 500) as
it was stolen shortly before. STINGER
of TRANSCOM was deeply depressed and
cried. no new stuff had been released
and YANKEES even took part in the
competition with an anti-TRANSCOM demo.
they made the third place...

there is a PARTY-LINE exisiting in
dueren (near aachen, koeln or bonn).
this is the first party-line i know
about in germany. so, maybe this line
will get as popular as the american
party-lines in the near future ?!?
might be cooool... anyway, call:

but, as far as i understood there can
never be more than 10 people on each of
the lines. so, most of the time the
lines are busy and you have to try very

MAGIC NEWS will probably soon be
skipped from the GAME ON again. see,
GAME ON decided oo release all different
magazines in the future. so, SEX'N'CRIME
oight be back on the disk if you send
enough letters. thank you in advanceoif
you might do so !

on 9th of december'89 a big party for
c-64, amiga, st and pc will be held in
papendrecht (netherlands). start will
be 12.00 o'clock. so, make sure you'll
be at "gebouw de lage waard" in the
vijzellaan/papendrecht in time !

and, since sonix and scrap were a little
bored they had a veeeeeery intelligent
conversation... they were writing little
poems concerning beer... this is the

* LAMERS... *

well, what really is a lamer then ?!
in fact this application has yet not
been defined. but, as it seems people
take it as a matter of tremendous
offense. call someone a lamer and he'll
be your enemy forever ! (hahaha...)
many people... many definitions...
i personally think a lamer is a wannabe,
trying to be better than he really is.
in the past LAMERS used demo-makers to
do some lame shit and spread it, just to
let other people know they were alive.
they had nothing else to fill their
disks up with so these LAME "demos" got
spread all over the scene. finally when
even the last craphead realized how LAME
it was to use intro- and demo-makers,
people invented something else. LAMERS
made so-called "music-ripps" and filled
dozens of disk-sides with music that
nobody wanted to have anyway. music,
used ages ago, well known by everyone
were re-ripped from somebody else's
demos or music-ripps and were used to
fill complete disk-sides... how LAME !!
later, LAMERS started to draw ugly logos
and filled their disks with that...
hundreds of embarressing logos...
everybody thought he was able to do some
adorable artwork just because he could
draw some stupid letters and put some
ridiculous effects in them. LAAAAAAME !
complete disk-sides were filled with
this lame nonsense just because some
LAMER-groups don't have anything else
they could spread to get famous...
now, since SEX'N'CRIME was invented,
even the smallest LAMER tries to imitate
it. LAMERS think, AMOK became famous as
AMOK released a magazine, so they just
try to get famous the same way. but,
these stupid LAMERS don't realize that
AMOK NEVER released S'N'C to get fame.
we did it to inform people about the
backgrounds of the scene, no more...
AMOK can never be accepted by all as we
don't want people to think we are "cool"
just because we write good things about
them. so, instead of writing positive
lies about some of the famous just to be
friends with them we write the truth, no
matter if it might be good or bad for
them. SEX'N'CRIME is not ment to
transport our name all over the world,
it's dedicated to the less informed and
we just try to open your eyes. but, all
these other magazines intend to make
their authors famous, at that's LAME !!
see, if we wanted to be famous, we would
not use "AMOK" as our handle. remember,
AMOK is a synonym for a union of approx.
200 different groups. if these other
people wanted to inform the world, they
would send their news to one of the
already exisiting magazines. remember:
the more magazines there are, the less
each issue gets spread...

POWERDRIFT is definitely the best car-
racing game i've seen the last couple
of years on my c-64 ! nice and fast
graphics and some very cool musics
convinced me to give... rating 85%

TUSKER is yet another brilliant game
this month. cool music and excellent
graphics make this arcade-adventure to
one of the best i've ever seen. i felt
mutch like indy jones when i was solving
this new SYSTEM 3 game. rating: 93%

SUPER WONDERBOY IN MONSTERLAND is one
of those simple games i hate... in fact
it has quite cool graphics and a nice
music but i don't like this kind of
games anyway. so, rating: 56%

s: hi, dude !
o: describe yourself.
s: i'm 16 years old, 1.89 m tall, i got
brown-blond hair and green eyes...
so, i'm a real mr.universe ! hehe...
o: tell us a bit about your computer-
life up to 1989...
s: on the very first day i got my c-64
i founded my own group, called UDSC.
i better won't tell you what that
stands for as i was completely lame
these days. after i meet some guys at
school we founded FREESCAPE with
turned into NEW LINE later...
then i got to know TIR of WWE and he
was so kind to take me into WWE.
i stayed there for about 8 m-nths
and then realized that WWE was
getting a bit lame, so i decided to
join my friends in GENESIS.
o: what is your job in GENESIS ?
s: humm... actually i'm just a swapper
and i'm spreading my ass away for
them. from time to time i'm doing
little graphics, logos and char-sets
you know... but i'm not too good in
that yet. but i still got time to
improve, eh ?!
o: tell me a bit about your hobbies
besides computer.
s: yeahh... i love to watch video,
i like to listen to rap music and
like every healthy boy i of course
love to hunt for girls ! hehehe...

well, a lamer is a small fat animal,
wearing biiiiig spectacles and he
always calls you on sundays as that
is the only day when his parents
