After the much talked about divorce
with HARDCORE, ONSLAUGHT has continued
their race with releases. ONSLAUGHT has
also been the issue of turning into a
giant soap for the wide public, where
members that come and go are in focus.

Still, the group has with its huge am-
ount of members easily gained immense
popularity throughout the field during
a short period of time. Whether this
will maintain is yet impossible to
know.

Having logged on as LA STYLE/ONSLAUGHT
the imposter took part of internal in-
formation about the group for some time.
People on the boards agree that it has
become far to usual with fakecallers
on the boards, and they agree that
security has to be looked over.

DOWN BY LAW has since its launch in
TALENT been known for its notorious
crashes, keeping it down for days. One
hardly thought it could get worse, but
during the ONSLAUGHT-days, it really
has. MORRISSEY, sysop of the board, has
been looking over things, and as it
appears DOWN BY LAW should be working
at bit more efficient than before.

Perhaps on protective basis, or in mere
interest, ONSLAUGHT signed up a second
board recently, being DEAD ZONE. DEAD
ZONE is still quite new, and has not
really gained incredible popularity yet.

With WALKERZ, ONSLAUGHT and AVANTGARDE
came into a small public growl. However,
VENGEANCE, organizer of ONSLAUGHT chose
to keep a somewhat low profile comment-
ing the issue for us;

Still, it has come to our notice, that
THE STABILIZER, long gone fame from

DEMONIX has been held responsible re-
cently for fixing inside ONSLAUGHT.

It started with ONSLAUGHT declaring the
excess of members, having to cut down
the status slightly. BAZE had to go,
just a while back among many others.

A cracker that we choose not to mention
has been calling 3 different competitor-
groups asking for joining, not being
pleased with the [O]-Organization.
DOGER, by many regarded as the most
talented cracker in ONSLAUGHT left
shortly for his friends in HITMEN. This
leaves ONSLAUGHT with high hopes for

THE MINISTRY, who officially criticize
the weak ONSLAUGHTsupport all over the
Swedish boards. As if that wouldn't be
enough, people accuse the group for the
game AMNESIA NOT being a game from TWICE
EFFECT. ONSLAUGHT still claims the game
being from TWICE EFFECT, while the
nastiest words we have overheard speak
of altered graphics and recoding an
old title. PEACEMAKER from HITMEN, who
helped ONSLAUGHT fixing the game declar-
ed his dislike in the issue, not yearn-
ing to be connected with lowbudget
scams in the scene. The truth is to
PROPAGANDA yet unknown. We will con-
tinue to cover the soap and cover the
latest storms by issue #2O

The Dutch cooperation has had a very
slow summer and have just recently
started to establish their full throttle
ahead comeback to the system. With X'96
planned, hopes are high not only for
releases, but for a splendid party the
coming easter. Even THE ALCHEMIST, hard-
working sysop at THE DUNGEON declared
his interest in participating at the
8-bit event that seems to be rocking
the world once again.

With plenty of old face returning to
the boards, ARROGANCE found his way
back to the systems. Being practically
everywhere, and even performing re-
leases for the group. Whether this is
just temporary or for good, time will
tell, having spent a lot of the past
years working for the army.

MOREN declared in public both on THE
DUNGEON and DREAMPARK his annoyance with
the laziness within his group. It could

be that summer was still taking time
away from people, but this might be a
cause for alarm with many of the members
showing particular interest in the PC-
market. However, there is still no
cause for alarm - THE DUNGEON is a
steady number 2 in popularity, and their
FTP, usually nicked PITEL is the most
frequented and supported sight over the
entire netscene. BURGLAR'S splendid
version of WALKERZ, Iffl of course,
shows the cooperation still have a lot
to give.

TRC*SCS have furthermore expanded their
activities in Poland - like all bigger

groups these days - recruiting TECHNO,
former member of GENESIS*PROJECT. TECHNO
has been coding games for quite some
time, and is considered to be Poland's
2nd most talented cracker after HAIN
from F4CG. Having worked in many ways
with SPLATTERHEAD over the years, the
step into the cooperation was quite
natural for the Polish fellow. We expect
more people to follow as the groups
expand their activities.

The Dutch board that had served quite
some time under the flag is down for
good, leaving STATE OF THE ART all
alone as their European system.

* ROCKSTAR, veteran with a past in
groups like TALENT and GENESIS*PROJECT
entered the Finnish group PALACE.
What he will do, is not stated.

* TRISTAN, longlost soul from EMPIRE
has been released from jail and is
solemnly planning his comeback on
the Commodore 64.

* SWAN SONG from DEMONIX was seen
calling THE DUNGEON for the first
time in ages. DEMONIX has not done
much over the past year.

* SKATER, former editor of SH0CK, the
best diskmagazine ever made will
be calling DREAMPARK in the future.
SKATER longs back to the 64 and the
people around it, as he states.

* ALFATECH/CENSOR was fired from his
SNES-programmingjob at FUNCOM (Norway)
for fooling around with the boss'
wife. He is moving back home to
Gothenburg in the not too far
distant.

* As said in a competitor magazine,
CENSOR will not make a demo on the
64 again. Most of the people are
busy working on software for
ELECTRONIC ARTS.

* Legendary MR.ZEROPAGE from RED SECTOR
among other groups was spotted on
the IRC/Internet not long ago,
talking about the good old days.

* QED/TRIANGLE will probably be
trying to arrange a comeback of
the group, even though it is still
uncertain at what level.
