Sometimes it is a mindboggling problem
rewarding people for exceptional work.
Sometimes it is a jolly task. However,
one thing I'd like to achieve, and one
day I hope I will. The awards shall be
a price of dignity and respect. Some-
thing people should thrive for and earn
with the jolliest of respects.

Today, we'll hand out awards to people
and groups we consider valuable and
invaluable. You may be one of them.
That is your privilege. Enjoy it, be-
cause next you might not.

The old flame boasting over 1O years
in existance has been fairly silent the
past 2 years. It was estimated some time
ago, with so many reinforcments done
memberwise, that F4CG was to face the
best of times. Today, F4CG has a solid
base of releases, much due to an intense
Polish support, and unlike others, an
American releasebasis as well. It is
with much respect I look upon this new
shot of energy pumping adrenalin into

the Commodore-scene. Without doubt,
F4CG not only managed to make a comeback
but they managed to make sure it is just
not a temporary one. PIRATES may be the
one and only thing that does not appeal
our choice of awards. PIRATES is, much
like the magazine you're reading right
now often delayed. It is a bit sad,
considering no other papermagazine
proves such quality. I do indeed hope,
that TRIBUTE 1994 will be an event
triggering the release of the magazine.

TALENT may very well be an old Brittish
force with members that would make most
people of today look pale. They also
bring back memories to the roots from
an old successful cooperation with long
gone IKARI. Recently TALENT do nothing,
though they do try. The latest and most
shameful of tricks was the one performed
recently by the German section of the
group. HAIN & MAJA, both F4CG also have
a past in the originally Brittish based

group. Now they are happy and gone from
the group. TALENT did not only ask them
to rejoin, but in fact did so bribing
them offering 5O German marks a first-
release, and calling cards. It is most
interesting that a group like TALENT
that barely call out these days, offer
callingcards to old members.

TALENT is a group that may not surrvive
in the stronger field. MAJESTY and BOD
have since long lost their spark, and
with no new talents being added, it
pretty much adds up. Furthermore, with
THE PULSE being gone, it has been rum-
oured that COUNT ZERO will leave the
scene, and with that, TALENT loses its
only member of relevance.

It would be fairly ridiculous crediting
ourselves, for a party that we are
organizing. Though I admit it is the
event of events, probably the most im-
portant event in the latter years. But
neither GENESIS*PROJECT nor AVANTGARDE
making it possible. In fact it is the
people showing up there. Tons of people
are signing up and it rounds up to be-
come one of the most successful parties

through all times. The old Commodore 64
parties almost only could boast a total
of 5OO people, absolute tops. Today,
with all wicked 16-bit parties in mind,
it looks ridiculous. We hope to boast
just the same, and if we don't, well,
we can only wipe tears from our eyes
and regret it.

People from all generations will meet.
People from all the years, people that
have meant or done something with value.
I can do nothing but smile, and doing
so TRIBUTE 1994 rounds up to the success
it really is.
