Here we go again. This time, I kept
it exactly the same way, apart from
one thing; I did not base the news
on the charts. Mind you, I still
take up the groups I consider worth
it. Those are the ones that have pro-
vided the scene and the boards with
something valuable since last time we
got together. If not among them, make
it happen. You cannot argue with that.

No matter what you think, it seems RSI
still manage to claim a very convincing
attitude towards the scene. It may be
they had some time during September,
where they experienced somewhat of a
fall, releasewise, but they recently
picked up with a lot of fine wares.

Some events, however, may have changed
the outlook of the RED SECTOR core. HOK
and CRISP where added into the fleet
some time ago, and with two of the most
talented crackers in the entire scene,

things can only look bright. One sad
occurence came to our notice, however,
which is that DENSE, once active editor
of BULLETPROOF has been removed. This
means a fine papermagazine has vanished
leaving PIRATES (F4CG) alone on the
market.

Boardwise, FORPLAY, finally went through
the change, and is by all means the
ugliest moterfucker around. Well done,
guys. GODLAND renamed into CAPITOL, and
functions as a EuroHeadquarter for the
group along with ALPHA FLIGHT.

TALENT is a name of pride and dignity.
Seldom have groups managed to keep up
their names with pride, only to fade
away into a dull grey something, only
scratching on the surface of what's
right. TALENT means respect. Many of
us pondered when they lost XXX among
others, but after some months, one could
clearly point out the fact that TALENT
made it again. Their comeback is now
more or less definate, and I'm pleased
to say so. They were the first in line
to pick up DEMONIX for importing their

wares to the USA, while other were
afraid of it. Not that DEMONIX hadn't
been importing before, but with TALENT
on their tradelist, some sort of a
respect appeared for DEMONIX as well.

We have seen plenty of fine releases,
most recently being Parsec, which was
a total slap in the face for EPIC who
were so proud to be pumping it out
'first'. X-TRO has been removed from the
TALENT-status, due to laziness, but to
be honest, I wonder whether it will
affect them in any way. Probably not.

than ever, and it makes me wonder how on
earth they always manage to everything
classy. I guess that's TALENT. Do it
with devotion or leave in style.

ALPHA FLIGHT

In the last issue of PROPAGANDA(GP), we
saw ALPHA FLIGHT as one of the promising
comebacks. This month, it proves we were
right with ALPHA FLIGHT doing a fine job
scenewise. They have accomplished to
acheive some releases, and at this time
they have proved over average-quality.
The core might be a success.

Boardwise, we saw them picking up an
unknown board, and taking it further, I
can now say it is one of the best boards
there is, THE EVIL ISLAND.

Some time ago they declared they had
intenstions of putting out the old mag-
azine RELAX, but as it looks now, they
aim to produce a totally independent
magazine, without they affection of
a guarding group. Recently, SKINHEAD has
experienced some problems with his phone
but he's doing his best to keep up his
work (hopefully everything will solved
within a month, says SKINHEAD.)

Memberwise, not that much has happened.
NATAS, basically responsible for a lot
of the H/P-business was removed. SKID
ROW is right now working on games for
BOMICO (Hotel Manager etc.)

Furthermore, they share CAPITOL (ex.
GODLAND) with RED SECTOR. Be there.

I heard the question a million times.
Where have they gone? The answer is all
out simple; nowhere. They are still here
more or less doing their job. The thing
is, people only tend to see and notice
the groups responsible for the first-
releases, and as it looks at the moment,
F4CG have been lacking behind on that
issue during some time. However, I can
assure, behind the curtain rests an
active mind, of people eager to take
their chance and know you down with what

they can do. WOLF, their ex-mainswapper,
was busted some time ago, and is facing
something pretty uncomfortable in the
not too far distant. SMASHER and
TWILIGHT have been removed, but I doubt
it will ever be noticed. PIRATES is as
we speak under development, it's just a
matter of time until we get to see the
first printings. With BULLET PROOF gone
from the scene, PIRATES stands alone,
claiming the market it so well deserves.

The most interesting task at their stake
right now is the plans to expand thru
the world of Super Nintendo. It is at
this time uncertain whether the name
will remain, but the group is a fact.

TUNNEL OF WARES is definately picking up
speed to its original performance. We
pray and hope it will remain that way,
induldging the oldest there is.

GENESIS PROJECT went thru a somewhat
difficult phase, seeing DIVINE ULTIMATUM
go down, as it was one of the finest
systems on the market. THE DUNGEON was
picked up, somewhat reluctantly at first
but it proved a highly lucky move.

Along with THE DUNGEON followed
ALCHEMIST, also in DEMONIX, which means
GENESIS PROJECT are sharing the board
with them, a fine combination that
works effectively up to date.

The pick-up of DUNGEON stated an end of
a somewhat rough period, where members
were unable to call out and communi-
cational standars set to a minimum.

Worth noticing this time, is the sudden
move from LA STYLE, who stated his own
decline on the 64. Along with TYGER and
SNACKY, he's setting up the Super
Nintendo section of GENESIS PROJECT, a
fact you will soon take part of. Mind
you, however, after a lot of hassle, he
will still remain one way or another on
the 64. A lot of other members were
removed, most noticable being X-RADICAL,
whose akward behavior was one of the
reasons (after getting at SUCCESS at
DIVINE ULTIMATUM)

Reasons for the fall of other members
may vary. Ask and you shall be answered.
Two new important faces are in however,
DR.ACID, doing H/P and ALLANON, the new
breed in cracking whose work shall soon
be noticed. So there.

The last few months have been pretty
dull, whereas LEGEND is concerned. Not
only have they failed to accomplish
any releases, but an all too sad concept
is the fall of SHOCK, that will not be
put out again. SKATER, main editor, has
sold his equipment, and is at current
time spending time in front of a PC,
doing time in RAZOR. There was a time,
however, when they were planning to
add a new editor to the magazine, but
it seems it was an unlucky move, as the
result has not yet been shown.

Rumour has it though, that the long
promised paper-issue of SHOCK will be
published, but this fact is still not
determined. There was somewhat of a
fuzz, with ILLUSION, when both REBEL
and DERBYSHIRE RAM were said to have
entered LEGEND. This was untrue, however
as only REBEL joined. Later on, ATMOS
returned as well, after spending some
time in ILLUSION, which means, LEGEND
got their money back. However, I think
we will see LEGEND around Christmas
again, along with the fullpricers, but
after that, their presence will be
very vague. At this time, one can
hardly tell if they're alive or not,
so here I am to confirm it: they are,
but only God knows for how long.

As always, their board, SHAOLIN TEMPLE,
is doing fine, featuring the lot. Worth
notifying was the recent 'fight' be-
tween RSI and LEGEND. Hilarious!

Sad thing is, SUCCESS is one of them
groups I was planning to follow to the
very end. Most recently, however, I've
seen them lacking behind, not only
releasewise, but a decreasing precense
on the American boards. It may well be,
a slight sloop in their appearance, and
I do sincerly hope so, since they have
been dabbling along the 8-bit miracle
for a long time, and we want them a
few more years to come.

As DIVINE ULTIMATUM went down some time

ago, it might very well be one of the
reasons for their unpresent style. Mind
you, they still have their second board,
stalling time in the USA, which is not
shared with another European group, as
with DIVINE ULTIMATUM, shared with
GENESIS*PROJECT. The baord is EDGE OF
MIDNIGHT, one of the older familiar
boards in the scene.

One soapopera I've been enjoying to
follow! Yes. Noone can have passed thru
the last few months without noticing
the incredible turns taken in this group
lately. Some time ago, there was the
fight over 'Sceptre of Bagdad'. The
Americans spread a version, whereas the
Europeans did not approve. Somehow this
urged a break to let lose, where members
were fighting wars everywhere.

First the rumours said the Americans
were out (early September), a few weeks
later, the Americans were still in

while many of the Europeans were gone,
FREESTYLE, important for the group being
one of them. (Whatever you do now, good
luck!) It also appears many of them are
experiencing a somewhat difficult time
to call out, showing only SOME faces on
the American boards. I cannot at this
point ponder whether ILLUSION will ever
reach its original status, but I, among
many sincerly doubt it will be the same.
Even WideScreen is delayed.

CHROMANCE always keeps going. Whatever
happens to the scene. If there is a war,
if there is a slight decline, CHROMANCE
always keep that steady pace, playing it
cool doing it their own way. They have
an odd habit of putting out previews,
but somehow always manage to claim their
rights anyway. Most valubalbe for the
group this month has to be the return
of ROUGH, whose presence on the American
boarsd has been sincerly appreciated.

It is my firm belief, CHROMANCE is one

of the groups we'll be seeing for a long
time to come, unless someone very
destructive comes strolling around.
That, however, is highly unreasonable.

THE RULING COMPANY have accomplished
some pretty interesting weeks. They have
managed to claim some decent releases,
and have a steady appearance on the
American boards. Worth notifying this
time is the removal of the whole German
section, due to their inactivity. I
figure this was a wise choice.

Boardwise they're sharing the fine
system VIRTUAL REALITY along with EMPIRE
whose presence is also a pleasant fact
these days. Furthermore, they intend

to publish a new magazine, but at this
time it is unsure whether when and how.
However, it will not be FRONTPAGE.

- DANISH GOLD, old fame and flame from
the glory days are said to come back.
Even boardwise. Remains to be seen.

- VISION has been rebuilt. It is, as
we see it a shameless rip-off of
the original group, where NO
original members are in.

The concept was picked up by SATAN
(EX.GP) and X-RADICAL. So far, they
have managed to put out a utility
in the states, a utility that claims
2 years of age.

- STING (ex.G*P) is considering a
comeback.

- LAZER, old fame from the UK is coming
back. How and when is uncertain.
The same goes for the old squad
from Sweden, now doing big time on
the Amiga; THE SILENTS.

- REGINA is the name of a new group,
put together by some familiar faces.

Their effort so far is THE PULSE, a
magazine claiming more and more of
the market. Memers are: DUKE, KBS,
SVEVE, IDOL, SUNDANCER, ROCCO,
COYOTE, DR.ZIVAGO AND SHARK. Their
board is at this point the Danish
GATEWAY.

- Most interesting this month is the
fact that there will be another
Christmas party in Denmark. It is
mainly organized thru Amiga-groups,
but CAMELOT are involved in the
project. It will be bigger, better
and cooler than last year, boasting
capacity of over 3OOO people. There
will be 3OOO people there, and among

them, YOU. This is the event of the
year, if not the event of the scene.
Everything you could possibly desire,
and meeting up with the friends you
made thru the years sums it up.
You cannot miss this one (see other
chapter or partyfilenotes spread
around the globe!).

The reason for having the news like
this are for us obvious. We feel too
much is happening on the scene to
be covered in one magazine, and by
golly others do it so well, don't
they? Therefore, we keep you posted
about the top-groups AND the major
events going scenewise. The small

events will be mentioned elsewhere
on the scene, and as they are, I'll
be leaning back with a slight smile
on my face. So BACCHUS/FAIRLIGHT,
concerning your letter to THE PULSE;
You have not been forgotten, and
never will! You know that, and I know
that. Make some noise, and you will
be heard. I know you can.

That sums it up for this time. This is
how we see it and want it. If you do not
approve, just switch of your machine
and ignore us, as we ignore you.
