Millions of us wonder about the future
of the successful group. After the bust
a few months ago (HERO & GENE), it has
grown terribly quiet, and the loss of
PUDWERX a few months back was not a
a lucky pitch either. Releasewise,
they've lost ground, and I dare saying
they are a rare breed on the boards
right now. Still, however, TRONIC, is
doing a fine job with the release of
his WIDESCREEN, a 1OO% devoted movie
magazine, for the true addict.

Furthermore, rumour has it, ATMOS, once
in LEGEND, later on hacking cards for
ILS will have to stop due to a job.
People still vote, perhaps out of
habit. We await the next episode.

Red Sector, on their behalf have been
showing intense progress since their
return about a year ago. Many of the
people, scenewise, were reluctant about
the abilities of this force, but at this
time we know they were wrong. Their WHQ,
FORPLAY has been down for a while, it is
their main goal making it the fastest
and biggest ever in 8-bitstory.
According to Psychobilly, the board
will boast 96OO BPS-speed, Ramlink,
4 MHZ boostercard, 1.2 gigabyte Hard-
drive and UCBBS+C*Base-options.

This leaves most other boards on the 64
look rather pale, and I take of my hat
and salute the RED SECTOR guys for
daring to invest on the 8-bit-market.

Any rumours about the death of RED
SECTOR are thereby untrue, as they re-
main on this machine, putting out wares.

BULLETPROOF, their trendy papermagazine
edited by DENSE is delayed, as with all
other magazines these days (apart from
PROPAGANDA that is!)

RED SECTOR deserve with full credit the
spot they've reached, and it is my firm
belief that this is no come&go-group.

One has to admire LEGEND. No matter what
happened, they always maintained their
own personal style. They kept releasing
Brittish fullpricegames, even though
the amount of them decreased, while ALL
OTHER GROUPS started releasing wares
from other Software houses. (Unless I
decided to count their release of
AM0BA a billion years back)

Right now, you may not see very much
from LEGEND, for obvious reasons. The
amount of Brittish fullpricegames has

been dangerously low the past few
months. No worries, LEGEND have a solid
and steady support of fans, that always
make sure they end up in the charts
anyway, whether they crack or not.

LEGEND plan to stay on the Commodore 64,
at least all 1993, since they have 3
fixers working top priority for them.
Cards is not a problem, and neither is
originals (if the Software Houses put
them out, that is!). From 1994, LEGEND
will move more and more towards the PC
and I await that with impatience.

SH0CK, the magazine from LEGEND, edited
by SKATER is once again delayed. There

will be yet another issue on disk, and
there will be at least one on paper,
but at this time, SKATER is either lost
in the trail of a PC or somewhere on
holidays.

SUCCESS is yet another group with their
own very personal image. Almost un-
noticed by everybody else, they pump out
tons of releases, and good ones. It's
as though they entered a magic era from
Christmas and onwards, starting with
the release of CRAZY CARS III. Sharing
a successful board like DIVINE ULTIMATUM
together with GENESIS is also a clever
move. Futurewise, SUCCESS still has a
lot more to give, and we'll be there
with them as they take on us with pride.

During the last few months, GENESIS
PROJECT has shown incredibly intense
activity since March/April this year.
Members were added, some old returned,
while some were removed. The result of
this action has in many ways been
noted. They aimed back at the European
market, they lost over a year back,
and claimed back market they deserved.
The myth about the group and Antichrist
seems to vanish, slowly, leaving only
the fair treatment they so well deserve.
It took an organizational turn, where

LA STYLE and TYGER worked on the German
section, with NEWSCOPY and JUCKE taking
care of the Scandinavian section.

SNACKY and GOBLIN are both seriously
considering comebacks on the machine,
but only time will tell. DECOY DESIGN
an admirable artist, returned to the
scene, renamed to SANDERS and entered
the squad. SES, old coder (of this mag
as well) is coming back, and the best
swappers on the 64, AIRWOLF and ASLIVE
joined in as well. Rumours about members
from PANDORA being in are untrue. G*P
will continue their crusade on the 64
until its very end, and from there take
it further. PROPAGANDA will be published
monthly, and so will a lot more.

not been added on the list of jobs.
Most members have smaller various
tasks, such as intros, supplying
etc, but we have clearly pointed
out their maintasks.
This is the complete list, and names

Furthermore, GENESIS*PROJECT has set
up so called DISTRIBUTION SIGHTS, at
far away locations in the world. These,
however, are not connected to G*P member
wise, but stock all their latest
productions.

Chromance have been slightly inactive
compared with their previous perform-
ances around Christmas 1992. Some inter-
esting thins are occuring though. ROUGH
and BLOCKBUSTER are finding their way
back to the scene, and seeing old people
come back, is as said a million times
before, always a pleasant sight.
Chromance's present goal is to get more
active again, and continue their task.
JINX is working on a game together with
GTA. I hope, for the sake of CHROMANCE
they will rock the nation again.

Talent may have seemed like a group
taking more time off from the scene, but
the issue is completely different.
Due to a lack of wares, many groups tend
to look lazy, even though they are not.

BOD is always doing an impressive job
taking care of the group, as though it
was his own very son. In a way it is.

MAJESTY does the PR-job, regardless
if he intends to or not. His name seems
to perform miracles just by 'being'.

The addition of ROCKSTAR must be looked
upon as a valuable expansion, as a
cracker, or just as a name. Surprising.

The loss of XXX to LEGEND a while back
may have been hazardous, but they have
made a quick recovery, and will stay
on top, unless they decide to quit.

TALENT intend to continue as long as it
does not bore them, and seek a card-
hacker among others.

F4CG are going through very interesting
phases. We haven't seen much from them
lately, but God knows they're active!

TUNNEL OF WARES, their board, has gone
through some neat changes, and is in my
eyes experiencing a sudden rise.
(Still it is always busy - annoying!)

Most interesting about F4CG this month
is their plans to hit the SUPERNINTENDO-
scene. No, they will not leave the 64

until the scene goes down, I assure you,
but a solid SNES-section is under
development by NINJA and SOLAR.

Starting up on a new format, from
scratch takes time, but F4CG have some
juicy aces up their sleeves to take them
to console-success. God luck, friends!

THE RULING COMPANY is one of the groups
that always go their own way. They never
seem to mind what people say or think,
they just keep on strolling their own
path up the alley of 8-bit addiction.

Lately they have performed some success
ful moves, such as joining up with the
board VIRTUAL REALITY together with
ARMAGEDDON and the other fine system,
IN LIVING COLOR, that we warmly
recommend.

Some changes member-wise have also
occured. NIGHTSHADE quit the 64 (bozo!),
AUDIENCE got booted and ended up in
SUNRISE, HELLRAISER left for an old
group and the funny frog from France,
CHIPSTER(ex.DEADLINE) joined up.

THE RULING COMPANY intend to continue
on the 64 for a long time to come. They
consider themselves to be a funny group
and do not really care about competition
at all. The Dutch members are at current
time working on a game, which has
delayed their demos. IRONCAT is working
on a musicdisk, and a 1-sided demo is
on the way

An old group returning to the scene is
always a pleasant occurence. So far,
we have seen one release, Spaze Duel,
fixed by EMPIRE. ALPHA FLIGHT took up
a board in the 314-area, that goes
by the name THE EVIL ISLAND, which is
as I write definately picking up speed.

Many of the original members are in but
a lot more has been added to the list.
Some old and familiar faces, like SKID
ROW and SKINHEAD, old HYSTERIC-profiles
and some more.

It is my firm belief that we can expect
a lot more from ALPHA FLIGHT in the
future, no matter what. It would be
sad seeing an old group coming back,
and then leaving just a month later
since they couldn't take it. I pray
this is not the issue. Good luck pals!

It has been a hilarious month. Now
looking back at it, I'm more than
pleased.

It must be considered as the month, when
most people returned to the 64, and more
are finding their way back to the
machine. Look at it this way:

ALPHA FLIGHT returns

SKINHEAD starts calling out again

PANDORA does the same

ONEWAY, return, and put out releases

DECOY DESIGNS returns, joins GENESIS

ROUGH comes back, in CHROMANCE

MATT MURDOCK ex.ONEWAY, EXACT and
RAW DEAL comes back as painter

HOOKIE, ex.EXACT, ROUGH TRADE
comes back, probably to GENESIS

Regard this with a smile, a laugh or
however you choose to take it. I take
it with a giggle, and a warm feeling
inside.

Furthermore, there are some smaller
news, worth mentioning.

EVS/20CC will put up a board in
Holland named DOWNTOWN. We advise
you to be there on opening day, since
it will be bonanza.

Our dear friend TRICKET, once upon a
a time a true DOMINATOR, joined the
talents in VISUAL REALITY, and DOMINIC
is thereby a VR-board. MIKE/VR started
calling out.

What happened to the American force
that was supposed to take on the world?

RAW, or RUDE AWAKENINGS vanished into
something I cannot define. Can you?

Phew, that rounds it up for this time.
