Well,I'm 21,6 feet tall,have dark kinda
long hair (I got a little ponytail).
I live in a nice but damn snob suburb
south of Montreal. One thing I really
like about it is that there are trees
everywhere w/o being in wilderness...
It kinda makes you feel good to see so
many trees in a time where the rain-
forests are being cut down and shit.
I listen to all good ole ROCK'N'ROLL,
HOUSE and to old Heavy Metal. Old R&R
fuckin' rulez!

Hummm,actually this damn computer really
requires lots of time... I work in a

lame drugstore/711 where I take care of
all ordering of paper and feminine
hygiene products. I first thought I'd be
working there til I could find a decend
job as a computer-programmer or the like
but I'll probably go back to school and
have some more fun! School can be cool
you know?! This is a bit hard to explain
because Quebec's school system is a bit
fucked up... ..

When I have time,I can either read some
work on computers/AI,Space and Science,
some philosophy (I.e.: THE MIND OF GOD,
PARADIGMS LOST,THE PRISONER'S DILEMMA.)
*OR* Fantasy/SF novels!! But I never do
miss a Star Trek episode,be it Next Ge-
neration or the original. Every so often
I play D&D games and I also did a bit of
Sankudo Karate and weight lifting (But I

haven't done much for a loooooong time!)
I don't go much into bars and shit be-
caue I can't dance. (Argsh!)

I got my 64 so long ago that I can't
remember a thing! I know I only had 1O
disks and that I had enough! Oh,my God!
I only knew how to load games and use
OMNICLONE for a long time Then I went to
ROTGRUB's and I met a guy who sold games
I FLIPPED!
I FLIPPED!
He was sending thousands of IBM and C64
disks all over Canada! I'd never dreamed
of so many disks! I got active at

swapping games and built a lame local
group.When I got a modem,I moved another
local group "PROSOFT"... We did a few
demos and ran a board axed on quality
posts instead of the usual (LAME):
"POST EVERY CALL OR DIE!". I actually
have lots of system files to show users
how to write an interesting message!

There was this lame group VISUAL FLEX
which was spreading pal demos and I did
not understand why the demos were not
working (PAL?!?!). So I started fixing
them... I had fixed A LOT when I met the
MIGHTY EXTREMIST on the phone. He and
RICH tought me what the scene was and
what a lamer was!!! Can you believe they
told me stuff like: "EATING RAISINS IS
LAME BUT EATING APPLES IS COOL."?!?

A few months later, they finally needed
help to fix QUAD2. It turned out that my
version was better than Wanderer's so I
was very happy! **

I fixed a few games for NAPALM but I
never made it into the members list.
When Napalm died, I realised HELLHOLE
w/ ATN for INC but we weren't known
enough so Destiny's version had the
point (my version was still better).

After the SURVIVORS's total flop, ATN
sent me CREATURES and VIZ (Did you
notice the guy "coming" on level 5?!)
and we restarted EMPIRE! When I did
CREATURES,I was accepted as a full
member and the legend began... A few
more months and I created what I
consider to be the most powerful group

ever: THE BURP BOYS! And it payed off aa
thousand times since then only with the
fun we've had!

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SCENE TODAY?

I think it sucks! There ain't no more
groups and not many more software...
I remember a time where greeting lists
were so long I was just overwhelmed...

I kinda feel bad because now all the
really good US software companies are
gone... I don't know,I don't really fix
to "Fuck the SoftwareHouses" because w/o
them we wouldn't be here... I just like
to do it to expose the lame software and
to credit the good one.

Well,I did a whole bunch of crazy things
I remember we set a whole abandoned
field on fire. In High-School we started
removing (destroy) the ceiling every-

where because there were rumours about
rebuilding the school. Argsh,hummm,we
built a Sect, The RED BROTHERS... It was
pretty cool. I don't know,we pissed on
the roof of Montreal's Olympic Stadium!
By now we can enter it through under-
ground passages in a flash. (Yeah!)

Well,I want to broaden EMPs activities,
so you'll soon see demos and demo fixes,
too. You shall also see new members soon
Intruder is the last one who joined but
some more are being considered. A new
EMP demo is being coded by members of a
group called OPV. Members of my old
group PROSOFT are also working on fixing
a few demos at this very moment! I can't
tell you much more yet. This project is
still in it's early stage.
WHAT WERE YOUR BEST AND
WORST TIMES ON THE 64?
I
I had the greatest times with ACTION!
And also when I fixed Creatures and
BT3! We had an EMPIRE conference running

the whole time we worked on Back Into
The Future! ATN shit too much and cloged
the toilet! We also died laughing with
the ARGSH/SALMON famous phone calls!
Man, we even called Stan and tried to
sell him some Salmon by mail!!!

I have a bad time when I get a lame
coded game (I.e:Supertank) to fix...
And most of the times, when we do a game
every lamer is going to rag on the ware.
I remember Danny Boy ragging on "EMPIRE
releasing puzzle games" and the next day
he released one himself and wrote in his
scroll: "QUITE AN ADDICTIVE PUZZLE GAME,
I MUST SAY SO MYSELF." ......

Well,yes and no. I don't have a girl-
friend. When you do,you have to drop
either her or the 64 because girls and
computers dont USUALLY go well together.
(Trust me!) I only know of ONE very
special exception.

I do have childish fantasies (like most
people (I hope!)) that I think of,but I
doubt you'll still respect me if I tell
these here... Hummmmmm,what the heck!?
OK! A time travel machine does come to
mind here. I'd go back to the chivalry
ages and have some fun without worries.
Yes,I know it's lame but I can't help it
I'm a SF fan! I do have a few ideas of
that sort that I like to think about

just for the fun of it.

WHAT WAS THE HARDEST FIX YOU EVER DID?

The hardest games I had to fix I still
can't do them... When I finish a game it
becomes clear and simple to do. It only
looks impossible until you find a way to
fix it. Then this fix becomes like the
only LOGICAL way to proceed and I ask
myself why I couldn't think of it before
The longer it takes to do the harder it
probably is... Until it's done! ..

TURRICAN and DRAGON BREED are tough ones
though! Most everything on a computer is
only impossible until it is! Sometimes,
there ain't much you can do because of
the way the game is coded... If the

scroller and sounds and "modifiable"
routines are perfectly coded,you are
going to have a hard time finding some-
thing you can speed up...

EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT
THEMSELVES,WHAT MAKES YOU SPECIAL?

Well,I don't really know that. I'd have
to guess. I'm a Sagittarius so you can
check it out in a few books to have a
general outline of some of the traits
that I possess. I reckon I can be pretty
good at listening to people and I know
that differs from folk I know. For
further detail,check out a book about
different horoscopes. I was born the
1Oth of December'7O. ATN had such a book
once and I remember there was some truth
about my person in everyone of the

different horoscopes that it had
(providing you read MY sign)...

Computer-wise,I can mostly do anything.
It might take much more time than other
folk but I can do it all. There ain't
really something I can't do with a comp-
uter if I get all the time I need... One
other thing that might be of interest is
the fact that I can learn much of the
way a game is coded just by playing it.
I can also know exactly how a demo is
made (routine by routine) just by
looking at it... I just like to do it
and when I miss,I make sure I don't miss
that effect again.

Hummm,I might go to California-Silicon
Valley. Europe is another very inter-
esting place I'd want to visit and live
in for a few years. Especially England
and Greece. As for who I'd be with,TBB
of course! Hahahaha! No,it'd be the girl
I love. One of the best things you can
do to learn about a foreign country,when
visiting,is to learn it's main language.
So I'd be speaking Greek and Latin if I
could go any place...

like NARC very much... My friends are/
were in Action,Empire and G*P but I do
like most people I don't dislike...

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WILL BE DOING

I really don't know yet... If I go back
to school I'll probably make up my mind.
But right now, I just know what I don't
want to do... I want to do something in
a computer related field but I fear
doing the same thing for too long,for
example: Programming Cobol file manage-
ment or print reports for years... I do

not even know if I'm going to marry some
one. For many folk I kow and I fear it
will do the same with me,marriage just
changed completely their relationship to
the worst,so... Dunno!

WHEN YOU GET ANGRY, WHAT DO YOU
DO TO GET THE ANGER OUT?

"AAAAAAAARGSH!" Hehehe... I don't know,
I tend to use lots of french four-letter
words... I do get angry easily but it is
really hard to get me so angry that I'll
want to kill. When I do get that angry I
am not reponsible for what I do. Usually
it'll just go away after a while.

ATN. My sub-conscious just took control
ATN. of my body when I had 6 folk talk
to me at the same time... I then
saw myself say "Aargsh"!

RICH. It's ATN'S tribal cry to express

BOOZE. I really don't know since I say
BOOZE. it whenever I can't find anything
else to say... It may also serve
as a diverting point into a
conversation. (Aargsh!)

I guess I'd take something like READ

This I do not like. I don't like to

think about alternative paths of time
where I'd be this or that way... I'm
stuck in this one and I accept that. A
few things I did,I might change,but I
don't know where I'll be now because of
the way time works (Theory) so I prefer
not to breath on that...

I'd make sure there ain't no hunger in
the world no more...... NOT!!! I would
probably make sure pollution is cut down
to nothingness... This is one issue that
I really get pissed about. But if all

My biggest fear is to ride in ATN's
"Brown Shit" Car! Like it's going to
break into two pieces soon you know!
Hahaha,this is true!! But he did get
rid of the car a while ago... My biggest
fear would be that there is so much pol-
lution that the earth dies... That would
be so lame of us! But I do not really
like the idea that I get so sick I can't
even think for myself anymore. Something
like Alzheimer... I'd be sitting idle in
a hospital bed for the rest of my life
and I don't like this. I'd like to die
before that happens,having done all that
I could.

I met ATN,RICH and INTRUDER of course
since they all live near my city... I do
not really remember when I met ATN?!
I think we had a game and I called on
ATN to swap a few things... God,ATN is
weird! Hahaha! We also met on a local
copyparty where ATN and RICH were
spreading EMPIRE wares and where I fixed
a demo to be released there...
Met INTRUDER there,too,but we really did
not talk too much. We had to sneak in a
few beers because it wasn't allowed!..

I also met PUDWERX! In MTL some time
ago... We met in a bar (PEELPUB). It was
cool! We went there in ATN's BROWN SHIT
car,man I wished then I never went!!

After a few beers we went to PUDDY's
hotel room and woke up folk in the
neighboring rooms....

I wish we could do a MAJOR copyparty in
the USA! We could meet everybody! And I
am sure a few guys from Europe would
come,too! Ahh,maybe one day?! **

HOW DID YOU GET YOUR HANDLE?
I
It was in High School. A few friends and
I decided to create a SECT we named THE
RED BROTHERS. We needed handles so we
kinda took the first few letters of our
last name and added whatever we thought
of to it. We came up with something like
like "BOUES" which is pronounced like
"BOOZE"... I can't really expend on that
since it was built in french and there

ain't no way to translate the texts we
have! They're considered hard to handle
and understand fully even in french!

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT
THE OTHER FIXING GROUPS?

Well,errr! I only consider NEI to be THE
ONLY other fixing group worth talking
about (And ILLUSION/USA).

New groups need to fix much more ware
before they can be considered
experienced enough... See, you can't be
known as a good fixer if you only fix a
few games! I think this is one of the
problems they face. They want to be on
top right away and drop the C64 if they
ain't after only a few wares...
Reward comes with time!
