Well, the daily newspaper was dated
with 24.10'92 and that sounds a little
bit like the date for the...

VENLO OCTOBER MEETING
-----------------------
..held in Venlo-Blerick/Netherlands,
between 11 and 16 o'clock!

THE BACKGROUND:
----------------
Venlo is one of 4 meetings held in the
Netherlands. To be precise it's usualy
held on every 3rd Saturday of the
month!

-The Houten Meeting takes place on
every 1st saturday.
-The meeting in Nijmegen is on the 2nd
saturday.
-Venlo is wellknown..
-Den Haag is held on every 4th
saturday.

The negative fact is, that the paper
is written in dutch!

But now....
THE REPORT...
--------------
The whole mess started on Friday at
17 o'clock. After a long sail and an
unbelievable battle with the royal
treasure-fleet we came together on the
PIRATES-ISLAND. With a big bottle of
pure rum in our hands, we started
organizing the action of the next day!
Croon and I developed a complete time-
plan for the next day.

Saturday, 24.10'92
-------------------
As I covered my body in the warm bed-
linen, it was possible to catch sleep
for five hours.
But the worst invention ever made,
usually known as Alarm-Clock, used to
terrorize my secret dreams at six
o'clock in the morning!
I took my daily shower and put on some
cloth. I tried to eat something, but
my mouth was still gaping, so I only
defeated three little grapes, which
was no usual Pirates-breakfast!

Anyway, I left my building with the
Network-Party-Bag in the one hand, the
Pirates-Flag and the Fun-Maker in the
other. I loaded the goods on my ship,
and the moment I closed my Fiesta once
more often, I saw Croon with his car
coming down our street. We just had a
little chat and so he drove off to
pick up A-Bomp at 06:45 and meet me
again at 07:00 at Flim Flam's house!
Just in the moment, when Croons car-
sound left my hears and that strange
'Piieep' turned off, I saw Venice
walking my way.
With Venice on the right-front-seat of
my car, I drove to Brix and also he
was quite fast and we were able to
follow the developed Time-Plan from
Croon and me.
At 07:01 we were present at Flim's
house and Croon and A-Bomp were still
there. I left the car to shake hand
with A-Bomp, who still thought about
drinking. Venice and Brix left the
little street-meet and began to party
in Flim's house. Flim Flam caused a
heavy delay, which was told to have
the only reason: 'My girlfriend was
here last night..'.
So we arranged to pick up Ragman and
Leech at 07:30, but that was still
impossible, because their houses are
ca 50 km away and we really drove like
being mad on the free-way.
We arrived there at 07:59 and they
came aboard. So we hoist flags and
were definately on our way to the
Netherlands.
Croon, knowing that he must keep on
driving the A2, prefered to leave my
ship being my ship and went off at his
own.
Pure fun was celebrated by Flim Flam's
'SKA -TAPE' and so the only thing
which troubled me was my stomage.
Remember: Three grapes and nothing
else was still not much.
Just after Dortmund I used to stop at
a petrol-station and what saw my eyes:
Croon, A-Bomp, Ragman and Leech trying
to fill Croon's car up with petrol.
We just showed them where we liked to
park and they followed.
The big Pirate-Cult-Shake began and we
talked a bit, just until Croon decided
to leave us again.
I visited the toilet and bought some
condomes with a little Cream-Tube!
At 09:15 we left the station and
hunted some cars on the Free-Way!

Well some blind, sick and mad words
were spoken on the way to the border
and ofcause I can't remember every-
thing.

As expected we were present at the
border at 10:00 and as not expected,
there was no cop to stop us!
So, as planned we arranged a date
behind the border and so we saw the
car from Croon, and the car(?) from
GALEN/TRINOMIC standing around there!
We just left the cars to shake hands
with Galen, Pussymaster, X-TRO and
Galen's brother [(L)amiga-freaker]!
I changed some money and we all waited
for the Sunrise-Car! But planned was a
meeting at 10:30, but at 10:45 there
was still no Sunrise car. So we left
the place there and sailed to Venlo-
Blerick.
Just after paying the 5 Gulden for the
ticket I observed the meeting-place.
I saw Aslive/Hysteric/Flash Inc./RSI,
Airwolf/Legend, Chotaire/Ex-Image,
Merlin/Epic and Nightshade/Success in
the first part of the hall. Ofcause a
little shake with them was celebrated!
But I was searching for our true
scene friends and party-freakers.

After missing them two times,I finally
found them inside of the hall.

A little shine of the sun passed the
windows and lighted up the face from
JTF/SUNRISE. After a the traditional
front-fuck, I recognised his little
petrol-reserve-tank and for sure I
knew which kind of liquid was filled
in there. JTF's special Wodka-Bitter-
Lemon mixture.
A little bit later I saw Jones/Sunrise
presenting the mega-cool Enforcer-
crack from PARACRAX/SUNRISE.
I kissed the hands from Cliff/SUNRISE
and cool as he is, he was wearing his
special eye-zoomer-glasses.
Also Jones put on his glasses and Flim
Flam and I lend the glasses from them
and walked around a bit.
With the glasses I saw The Cult/DA/SUN
and spend some time with him.

Venice captured the EXCESS-computer
and showed the NETWORK ISSUE#02 on it!
As everyone was laughing about the
lame Intro, Flim Flam and I used the
chance to pick the Network Bag from
the car. Back in the meeting we
devided all the vote-sheets and soon
Venice, Ragman, Brix, A-Bomp, Leech,
Flim Flam, Croon and I spreaded them a
bit.

I saw Tachyon/Mega Industries standing
there and we talked a bit. Finally he
got a table and installed his computer
on it. Booting Remark Issue#16, more
and more sceners assembled around the
tabel. Mega cool magazine and we saved
a copy of it. Just at the EXCESS-table
Venice tested his version of it and it
was really hard to handle. But after
some time of training, he finally[£]^<
managed to handle the mega-cool ;<=>?
new outfit.
Anyway, I visited the table on
which Posdnugs/RSI was just
filling the Network-Vote-sheet
and I observed him filling the lamer-
charts. He also wanted to spend a vote
for Brix, but as it isn't allowed to
vote for the Pirates, he just filled
in someone else.
Posdnugs seems to have a bad opinion
about Brix, because Brix told someone,
who showed his Fli-Picture, that it is
possible to paint it in Koala!
Brix is a good graphican and he's able
to handle all formates of Editors and
for sure he'll make strange noices
when there are only three colors in
one cursor-square.

Back to the meeting. Having Fun with
Galen/Trinomic, a pretty face showed
up. It was Curly Sue/TNC, I just had a
chat with her and also Brix talked
with her for a while.
We all took a mouth from JTF's cool
turbo-drink and Galen's face turned
white, as the mixture was stored in
his stomage. With big headache, he
followed me to my car and I invited
him to test my special....

HEADACHE-TERMINATOR!
----------------------
which is a record of DEXTRO-ENERGEN
and pure COCA-COLA. I ordered Galen
to eat the Dextro and drink an half
litre of the coke.
The Coke was warm and there was no
blubba (carbon dioxide) in it's black
liquid. After the ritual Galen looked
very shocked. As his face turned more
white and he wasn't able to say some
ordinary words. Probably, you know,
that Dextro and Coke expand in the
stomage and that the mixture will be
sucked from the blood. So Galen's
behaviour went more sick, but since he
is no Pirate, he mustn't spit like
Brix last time, on the way back!
Pussymaster used to eat some cold
frites with some vagetables....

While I prepared the Fun-Maker, Croon
copied some Amiga discs inside of the
building.
With the Fun-Maker in my hand I went
back to the party-place.
JTF was still waiting for the cult
show. After some grandpas and grandmas
passed our way, Flim Flam lighted up
his firemaker and the shoot was
unstopable.
'Pow', it made and a little flame
caused the simulated cannonball flying
up to ten meters.
Having some fun with MACHO/TRINOMIC
we spend some more time outside.

Finally I called all pirates up, to
have a little meeting outside!
We found a good rain-protection and
sat down there. I told them the reason
for the meeting and they listened.

Galen and Pussymaster of Trinomic were
still on their way back and only the
coolies in TNC stayed.
Mike of Sunrise opened his box and
gave out some MILESTONES. Venice
got 20 of the genius paper-mag and
he was ready to sell them there....

I also got a terrible headache and so
I could not remember all the action
during that period.

My head began to clear up at 14:00
and there are only 2 hours left for
the meeting.

Brix reported about Nightshade having
stress with ****/***** (?), because it
was said, that **** stole a disc from
Nightshade/Success and that he spread
it there.
It was a game, for which Nightshade
managed a Software-House to sell it!
But as roumors say that the contract
is broken now, Nightshade was very
angry and I think everyone can
understand why!
(ED.: ****/***** stands for the
hidden name, because we don't want
to blame someone here. Just ask
Nightshade for the real name.)

Just swapping places with somewhere
else.....

Ragman, Leech and Brix having some
fun with Leech's photo-camera. So
some good shoots were taken and you
should try to get them from LEECH.

The only special thing was, that Brix
layed his arm around Curly Sue/TNC,
just in the moment Leech was pressing
the botton.. I think that will be a
good photo, so far..

After a chat with JTF/SUNRISE in
the car from MIKE/SUNRISE, the party
was over and we came together oustide
the hall.
Again some pure minutes of fun with
THE CULT/DA/SUNRISE, JTF/SUNRISE,
JONES/SUNRISE, CLIFF/SUNRISE,MIKE/SUN,
Curly Sue/TNC, LYNX/HITMEN,

(ED.: A little research brought the
result that: Lynx didn't took this
handle because of the Atari Lynx, no
just because it's an illness in Africa
which is wellknown there....)

NIGHTSHADE/SUCCESS and so on....
Shaking hands with everyone, we left
the party to eat something in a local
shop.

Mad driving was the result of the
food there.

Back at Flim Flam's residence we've
planned our new demo and I think it
will be pure fun to make it....
