let's start with the interview made
with richie. i (frank) made this
interview on da phone, so i hope
there are no misunderstandings. i
hope richie won't kill me if i
misunderstood anything...

m:hi richie! tell us some facts
about yourself.

r:well, my real name is richard. i'm
20 years old and i come from
england. i'm about 1.74 meter tall
i have fair hair and blue eyes.

m:what's your favourite movie, drink,
food, magazine?

r:o.k.movie: beverly hills cop
drink: a certain kind of
australian beer
food: mc donald's stuff
magazine: mamba

m:have you got a girl-friend?

r:no. not at the moment.

m:what kind of music do(n't) you
like?

r:i like dance music, hip hop and
house music. heavy metal sucks!

m:how did you get into illusion?

r:sauron and garfield asked my in
january of 1990. i agreed and
joined together with firefox and
rebel mc.

m:when was illusion formed?

r:illusion was formed in july 1989.

m:how many members are in right now?

r:there are 13 members in illusion
now.

m:what's your task in illusion?

r:i'm doing some modemtrading,
cracking and mailtrading.

m:how did you get your handle?

r:when i was at school, some friends
of mine were painting some
graffity logos into a book, and one
of these logos showed the name i
use nowadays 'richie'. i liked this
name, so i took it as my handle.

m:how did you became known (famous)?

r:i always tried to make fast cracks,
and i did some modemtrading.another
thing you need to become famous is
having some good friends.

m:when did you get your first
computer?

r:my first computer was a c64, which
i got in december of 1983.

m:who's the best cracker/group in
your opinion?

r:the best cracker is megasnail, and
the best group is noone nowadays...

m:what are your best friends in the
scene?

r:i got lots of them. nearly everyone
i swap with.
m:which was the best group ever?

r:i think it was scouse cracking
group (scg).

m:what's your opinion about the
scene?

r:i think the scene is pretty cool
nowadays, coz it's a little bit
relaxed. there isn't too many
competition (as about 2 years ago).

m:what do you think about crackers
and demos?

r:crackers are simply cool. i only
like demos if they are original and
contain new ideas.

m:did you ever get in trouble with
the cops?

r:no never! in england you are only
illegal if you sell cracked games.

m:why do you use your computer for
illegal activities?

r:it's just what i have always done
with it.

m:what are your future plans and do
you want to quit computer?

r:i quitted computer for 2 days, coz
it broke down.

m:what do you think of americans and
europeans?

r:there are cool and lame americans.
people like pudwerx give the
americans a good name. the euros i
trade with are mostly cool.

m:if you could change the scene, what
would you change?

r:one thing i don't understand is,
why people are so secret where they
get their originals from.

m:are there still any aims you want
to reach?

r:there are lots.

m:did you ever regret your years of
computing?

r:no, not really! i did actually
regret that i didn't start cracking
earlier than 8 months ago.

r:never, but i'm legal in a certain
way (copyright-law in engalnd).

m:describe a lamer (no names!).

r:someone who always boasts. someone
always pretending to be no.1.
someone, who always says 'vote for
us!', someone who simply has a big
mouth.

m:what are your enemies in the scene?

r:i don't have any really, except
shark of inc.

m:why is your phone-number top
secret?

r:because i'm never in. just for
about 1 hour per day. my parents
would get pissed, if people try to
call me all day long.

m:what are you doing in your spare-
time?

r:drinking, playing football, clubs,
discos, and driving cars are my
favourite activities.

m:what was the biggest dissapointment
of your life?

r:hmm, quitting school so early.

m:what was the greatest thing ever
happened to you?

r:beeing born, passing my driving-
test and beeing in illusion.

m:what's your biggest wish?

r:my biggest wish is to find 2
lesbians and stay in bed with them
for one week.

m:tell me 3 things you hate.

m:what's your opinion on 'mamba'?

r:it's probably the best right now.

m:a last word you wanna say?

r:computers don't have to rule your
life. people should call out and
enjoy life.
cracking is for fun, some people
take it too serious. i hope
everyone comes to the pc-show.

d: danny

m: hi danny! would you please tell us
something about yourself and your
hobbies.

d: my real name is daniel. this day
(22.4.90) i'm exactly 17 years and
1 month. i'm 1,82 meters tall and
i have brown hair. except com-
puting i hunt for girls...
i love music and i collect new and
old hits. now i've got my driving
license - so i go out with my
friends to the sea and do all that
teenager-bullshit.

m: describe the scene in israel. are
there any groups except the force?

d: the scene in israel is poor! most-
ly i sale games, intro-makers and
intros. there are many groups
that have no talents and abilities
maybe only one or two groups but
they aren't worth to be mentioned.
nothing special or interresting!

m: what's your job in the force?

d: i'm now the leader, mega-swapper,
importer, cracker, spreader etc.

m: how did you get into the force?
i got into the force when last
ninja 1 and wonderboy were re-
least. i imported them to israel
and since that i started to bring
lots of games into isreal! when i
got an offer to join the force, i
left my old group called: 'the
micro-g'.

m: how have you found your members in
australia?
d: a long time ago i saw that there
was just another group called 'the
force' down there in oz. we
offered them to join us and paul
from oz said 'yes'! now we got sum
members in italy.

m: why are you illegal?

d: i'm not only illegal!! i'm illegal
active in the force, but legal in
sidchip-scratchers and twisted
designs.

m: when have you bought your c-64 and
how much does it cost in israel?

d: i have my c-64 now for 5 years!
today the c-64 is no longer selled
in israel. you have to buy it in
a second hand shop or you have to
order it and wait for some days.
a c-64 costs about 300 dollar here

m: what are your best friends in
israel?

d: i don't wanna give only few names
because i've lots of friends in
the scene.

m: do you have any enemies in the
scene?

d: we in the israeli section of the
force decided a long time ago not
to start a war against other guys.
so we have no enemies!

m: did you ever get trouble with the
cops?

d: no! i never got in trouble in this
case, even though it's illegal
here!

m: do you have a girl-friend?

d: yes! lately i got a girl! with my
former girl-friend i was in love
for 8 months then it splitted up!
m: did you ever regret your years of
computing?

d: i regret the first two years when
the computer was like a drug, but
now it's just for fun or earning
money!

m: what is in your opinion the best
cracker, musician, graphician,etc.

d: i won't say anything about the
best or the worst in the scene.
in my opinion other people can't
understand other poeple's opinion
and slag you down...
the best crackers, artists,groups,
are known to everybody, so i won't
say anything more about it.

m: what is your favorite drink/food/
music?

d: i won't say that i don't like beer
but i don't drink it much often
and lot of it. i love those french
baguettes or shawarma, humus, ga-
lafel (ed:what da hell this should
be, anyway?!) and pizza. i listen
to all kind of music like heavy
metal, trash, rap (ed:yo public
enemy no.1), funk, pop, i hate
acid!!! lately i received a 16-
minutes version from the song
'enjoy the silence'.

m: do you wanna greet some people?

d: ok, greets to all my friends and
contacts!!

m: hi etienne! please tell us some
personal things about yourself.

e: my real name is etienne rajotte.
i'm an canadian and live in mon-
treal/quebek. and my first langu-
age is french. i started to rule
the computer scene as i got a vic
20 first. i got it in 1981 as a
birthday-present and 2 years l8er
i got my c-64. my first contact
was numidaur/pgt and i traded with
him by mail. my first group was
called 'the academy'. after that i
joined empire and now i'm a member
of 'napalm'.

m: what is your task in your group?

e: my task is importing and fixing a
little bit.

m: with which groups are you trading?

e: i'm trading now by modem only and
my contacts are: paramount, crazy
lotus, triad, transcom, tec.

m: describe your person a little bit
more.

e: i have brown hairs, brown eyes, my
weight is 160 pounds, i'm 5 feet
9 inches tall and music style is
hardcore and speedmetal.

m: so you have long hair?

e: well it's not long enough, but it
should be in some months, but hey
i only like hardcore not heavy
metal.

m: who are your friends in the ameri-
can scene?

e: my best friend is toxic road kill,
who is in napalm too, the only
left member of the old fbr. but
good guys are gizzmo paramounters,
att/cosmos, tycoon/crazy, goblin,
cyberpunk and ninja of genesis.

m: what are your future plans?

e: first to enter the charts and i
simply wanna stay 64. i don't
wanna go amiga (don't like it!).
i won't become legal, i don't like
paying for my calls, so i never
will!

m: what was the biggest fun you ever
had considering to computer?

e: oh yeah! that was when my friends
(public enemy on ibm) and i made

free calls on a neighbour hood's
bank bill. and some days later
there was written in a newspaper,
that they recieved a bill of
about 25.000 dollar, because of
our activities.

m: did you ever regret being a
pirate?

e: no! i love being a pirate. i wanna
stay pirate.

m: what are you doing in your spare
time?

e: i still go to school, so there
isn't much spare time, but i love
going to pardey, to get drunk, sex
and i enjoy driving my car.

m: what car are you driving?

e: it's a pontiac leman. it's brown
like shit, but it's a cool station
vagan. some weeks ago i have hit a
truck. now my car looks better. i
beat an acura integra and an rx7
1984.

m: how did you get your handle?

e: i got it from an album: napalm's
death, peel session where was
written a name in extremest.

m: have you got a girl-friend?

e: one month before i had one, but
now i'm single.

m: what are your favourite drinks?

e: my favourite drinks are: vodka,
sambi and beer. my favourite beers
are: 1.molson dry, 2.heineken
3.maredsous the last mort subite.
i love spaghetti and angel cake.

m: a last word you wanna say?

e: fantasy sucks!
