some time ago we recieved a letter<br />
from turkey. the author was a member<br />
of the zombie boys, one out of three<br />
acting groups in turkey.<br />
he wants to give you a short view a-<br />
bout the scene there:<br />
on c-64 here are 3 groups:<br />
joker crew, chaos no.1 and the zombie<br />
boys<br />
here in turkey, everything about<br />
computer is legal! because here<br />
exists no software-law at this time.<br />
i mean every shop can sell cracked<br />
games. turkish groups gain money for<br />
mailing and stamps by selling games<br />
to the shops. nobody is scared of<br />
police. we can easily swap with each-<br />
other. i would like to say that<br />
turkey would be an ideal place to<br />
make a copy-party. if you compare<br />
turkey with other european countries<br />
it's simply the best place for such<br />
a party...<br />

we were asked to describe the<br />
phreaking-scene a little bit more,<br />
puuh, what is it about to describe...<br />
at least i would give every guy with-<br />
out knowhow advice: leave hands away<br />
from phreaking. you might have heard<br />
from these swedens who got busted.<br />
there's a simple answer to it.<br />
they hadn't enough knowledge!<br />
i don't know how such a thing could<br />
happen to europeans, maybe the bad<br />
system of american phone-companies<br />
reach the swedens better than for<br />
example the germans.<br />
americans who got busted had every-<br />
time a very high phone-bill or had to<br />
do social work or even were locked up<br />
