feel warmly welcome to another issue of<br />
jamaica. issues passes by and now we<br />
reached number 8. time goes fast. i just<br />
say that. and i belive that it is a<br />
standard thing for all mageditors. some-<br />
times the time just floates by. but as<br />
we finally released this issue why<br />
bother about time. you have the eight<br />
issue of jamaica in your drive!<br />

this time it's more powerfull then ever.<br />
read the chapter THE OUTFIT for some<br />
more info's about that matter. i guess<br />
the load-menue system is good to have<br />
and i hope that some other mags follow<br />
this idea and make their mags more<br />
powerfull and flexible. it's abit<br />
strange that no one have used that<br />
before.<br />

but it's one thing that is bad. what<br />
happens when i upgrad the system and<br />
add some functions that don't work on<br />
lower issues. well, that's what it cost<br />
to make such system. but remember that<br />
COLOR DRAW V4.0 on pc can't load<br />
pictures that was made in the V3.0 of<br />
the same program and that's LAME!<br />

so, in the future i recomend you to have<br />
the latest version of jamaica in your<br />
memory as that version will be<br />
compatible with all versions from this<br />
issue and up until we stop produce this<br />
mag.<br />

there is blowing right winds on the<br />
computer scenes. people who thinks that<br />
they are the best, the priortated ones<br />
and so on are giving our computer scene<br />
bad reputation.<br />
<br />
yes, i guess you know what i talking<br />
about. NAZI'S fucking nazi's! and first<br />
of all i must inform you that JAMAICA<br />
as a mag and jam as a group are totally<br />
against this kind of ideologys. and that<br />
can i say without asking any other<br />
member! i haven't think about the matter<br />
that nazi's using computers will give a<br />
bad reputation for all other computer<br />
useres, until i read INGENIOUS BRAIN<br />
issue 3. there it was an artilce about<br />
that.<br />

but i wonder how can these low-<br />
intelegent people know if a dude is<br />
black or white, or what his religion is?<br />
it's no logic in that. but to have<br />
boards which support extrme-right is not<br />
good for anyone excpet the ones that is<br />
using them. for the computer scene it<br />
will cause that the society,that you are<br />
living in will have a wrong picture of<br />
computers. and to this is also counting<br />
CHILD-PORNOGRAPHY!<br />

some weeks/months the only time they<br />
mentioned something about computers.<br />
(not as playing machines but as that<br />
form of computing that we do) they only<br />
said that, that sertain dude was accused<br />
for having child-pornography and extreme<br />
right things on his boards.<br />

it's time to show the society the best<br />
part of the computer scene. the DEMOS!<br />
demos must be the art of the 90's, if<br />
it's not newthinking in the art what<br />
will happen then?<br />
<br />
some day's ago the OLYMPIC GAMES was<br />
inaugurated, in the inaugural speech<br />
someone, which i don't remember who it<br />
was, wanted a silent moment for the ones<br />
fighting in ex-yugoslavia. and he even<br />
asked them to stop fighting. now nato<br />
want's to bomb the whole place in pices<br />
but will it happen?it could be the start<br />
of the world war 3! i think it's hard<br />
for us in the "RICH-WEST" to realise how<br />
it is for the ones in that country.<br />
for example i don't even care when they<br />
say on the news that 3 where killed down<br />
there. during the gulf war lots of hate-<br />
demos where made about SADDAM HUSSEIN.<br />
but this time not many people cared and<br />
i think i know why. do you really know<br />
what they are fighting for? do you know<br />
why they started to fight? i DON'T! as<br />
we don't know who we can blame then it's<br />
harder to make demos like thoose kill<br />
saddam demos.<br />

in the end of SNEAKERS when everybody<br />
can wish what they want. you might<br />
remember the blind he said: i just want<br />
peace. if you compere his wish with the<br />
others, his wish sounds little. but i<br />
guess nobody will give it to him.<br />

what will happen to the world in the<br />
future? do you know? do i know?<br />
<br />
i know one thing. everything good that<br />
the human have greated is used bad. or<br />
to have illegal profits. look at<br />
computers!!!! hehehe..<br />

this not so scene related editorial but<br />
much more important have come to it's<br />
