This time it's Bumboo and i have<br /> reviewed Scorpion's new album called:<br /> FACE THE HEAT .<br /> <br /> When I first bought this album I asked<br /> myself: Can scorpions make a such a<br /> great album as &quot;Crazy world&quot;?<br /> <br /> Well, the cd contains 13 tunes which<br /> tune 12 and 13 are bonus-tracks.<br /> <br /> I say a few words about every tune as I<br /> think the tunes quality is diffrent.<br /> <br /> <br /> Face the heat / Scorpions 58:55 min<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 01: ALIEN NATION 5:44 min<br /> <br /> A hard tune for to be Scorpions. I don't<br /> think that Klaus Meine's voice fits here<br /> but the tune gets better if you listen<br /> to it some times.<br /> <br /> Grade: 5/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 02: NO PAIN NO GAIN 3:55 min<br /> <br /> This is also a hard tune but it's better<br /> than alien nation. It's a very strong<br /> chorus.<br /> Grade: 6/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 03: SOMEONE TO TOUCH 4:28 min<br /> <br /> A little bit softer tune but it's not<br /> a hit, if I say so...<br /> Sounds like something that wasn't good<br /> enough for an old Scorpions album...<br /> <br /> Grade: 3/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 04: UNDER THE SAME SUN 4:52 min<br /> <br /> This is the first tune which sounds like<br /> old good scorpions. This ballad have a<br /> good text and sounds realy Scorpions!<br /> <br /> Grade: 7/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 05: UNHOLY ALLIANCE 5:16 min<br /> <br /> Just like alien nation, Klaus voice is<br /> not as good here as in the ballads.<br /> Nothing is good with this tune!<br /> <br /> Grade: 3/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 06: WOMAN 5:56 min<br /> <br /> The second ballad on this album. It's a<br /> good one too! Simply that way we know<br /> Scorpions.<br /> <br /> Grade: 7/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 07: HATE TO BE NICE 4:30 min<br /> <br /> Hmm, far from typical Scorpions but it's<br /> okey anyway. I don't like the guitarsolo<br /> in the middle of the tune.<br /> <br /> Grade: 4/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 08: TAXMAN WOMAN 4:30 min<br /> <br /> Neither this tune sounds Scorpions but<br /> this is worse...<br /> <br /> Grade: 3/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 09: SHIP OF FOOLS 4:15 min<br /> <br /> I hate to repeat myself but also this<br /> tune is bad and don't sounds Scorpions.<br /> <br /> Grade: 3/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 10: NIGHTMARE AVENUE 3:54 min<br /> <br /> A hard tune like alien nation but have<br /> nothing that make me wanna listen to it.<br /> <br /> Grade: 3/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 11: LONELY NIGHTS 4:44 min<br /> <br /> Probably the best tune on this album.<br /> Extremely good text. I guess the album<br /> is worth buying only because of this<br /> tune!<br /> <br /> Grade: 9/10<br /> <br /> <br /> Tune 12: DESTIN 3:17 min<br /> <br /> The first bonus-track. Also this one is<br /> a very nice ballad who sounds very much<br /> Scorpions. Chorus on french! Nice text.<br /> <br /> Grade: 9/10<br /> <br /> Tune 13: DADDY'S GIRL 4:17 min<br /> <br /> The second bonus-track and the last tune<br /> on this album. Another ballad. It sounds<br /> like destin, the first bonus-track.<br /> Even this tune have a nice text.<br /> <br /> Grade: 9/10<br /> <br /> <br /> The answer to my question if this album<br /> was as good as &quot;crazy world&quot; I must say<br /> -No! Some of the tunes are but many of<br /> the tunes is far from that quality.<br /> <br /> This album is anyway worth to take place<br /> in your collection.<br /> <br /> I wrote in some tunes that I liked the<br /> text so I would like to print down some<br /> lines from the tune &quot;lonely nights&quot;:<br /> <br /> <br /> &quot;i go back to the places we've been<br /> it feels like you're still there<br /> i live all those moments again<br /> wishing you were here<br /> <br /> since you're gone<br /> there is a lonely heart<br /> since you're gone<br /> nothin' is like it was<br /> <br /> there are memories all over the place<br /> bringin' it back all so clear<br /> remember all of those days<br /> wishing you were here&quot;<br /> <br /> <br /> Enough off that.
