Also musste<br /> der Zufall nachhelfen und wie das Leben<br /> nun einmal so spielt habe ich doch tat-<br /> s&amp;auml;chlich ein knappes Jahr sp&amp;auml;ter von<br /> einem Bekannten meiner Eltern einen ge-<br /> brauchten, nicht mehr ganz t&amp;uuml;chtigen<br /> 128er geschenkt bekommen, inkl. Disket-<br /> tenbox. Tja und dreimal darf geraten<br /> werden, welches Original sich darin<br /> befand: Richtig, &quot;Test Drive 2&quot;. Leider<br /> ohne Car- und Scenerydisk, aber egal.<br /> Aufgeregt legte ich &quot;Test Drive 2&quot; in<br /> meine Floppy und startete es. Doch die<br /> ersten Eindr&amp;uuml;cke waren etwas ern&amp;uuml;chternd<br /> f&amp;uuml;r mich: Die Grafik fand ich schlechter<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> als beim Vorg&amp;auml;nger und die Steuerung<br /> wirkte sehr schwerf&amp;auml;llig. Als &quot;Test<br /> Drive 1&quot;-Profi dachte ich zun&amp;auml;chst nicht<br /> im Traum daran, dass ich damit nicht<br /> zurecht k&amp;auml;me. Als ich aber bereits in<br /> Runde 3 Game Over war wollte ich schon<br /> frustiert aufgeben. &quot;Doofes Spiel&quot;, war<br /> das erste was ich dachte und gro&amp;szlig;e En-<br /> t&amp;auml;uschung machte sich breit. Das war am<br /> ersten Tag. Am zweiten Tag versuchte ich<br /> es erneut und am dritten Tag habe ich es<br /> durchgespielt. Zwar mit miserablen Zei-<br /> ten, aber immerhin. Pl&amp;ouml;tzlich war er<br /> wieder da, der Spielspa&amp;szlig;, der Ehrgeiz.<br /> &quot;Dann wollen wir doch mal sehen, ob ich<br /> diesen Highscore nicht knacken kann, der<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> auf der Disk gespeichert ist!&quot; Gesagt,<br /> getan. Nach mehrt&amp;auml;gigem &amp;Uuml;ben hatte ich<br /> ihn dann geknackt - und nicht nur das:<br /> Ich hatte ihn verbessert und sogar<br /> wesentlich. Immer wieder und wieder<br /> bretterte ich durch die Landschaften,<br /> lie&amp;szlig; B&amp;auml;ume und Stra&amp;szlig;enpfosten nur so an<br /> mir vorbeifliegen, Polizeistreifen gaben<br /> schnell auf, weil sie mich nicht mehr<br /> einholen konnten. Yeah, &quot;Test Drive 2&quot;<br /> hatte mich nun fest im Griff! Meinen<br /> Freunden hatte ich nat&amp;uuml;rlich schon lange<br /> erz&amp;auml;hlt, dass ich im Besitz von &quot;Test<br /> Drive 2&quot; sei und schon bald wurde bei<br /> mir zuhause um die Wette &quot;getestet&quot;.<br /> Und am Ende gab es dann immer nichts<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> sch&amp;ouml;neres als am Schluss an der Tank-<br /> stelle zu stehen, in cooler, l&amp;auml;ssiger<br /> Machomanier der Politesse die Auto-<br /> schl&amp;uuml;ssel in die H&amp;auml;nde zu dr&amp;uuml;cken und<br /> ihr zuzul&amp;auml;cheln. Ganz nach dem Motto:<br /> &quot;Hey Baby, I'm hot!&quot; Was sind da schon<br /> Handschellen und 30 Tage Knast wegen<br /> &amp;uuml;berh&amp;ouml;hter Geschwindigkeit, r&amp;uuml;cksichts-<br /> losen Fahrens und Widerstand gegen die<br /> Polizeikontrollen...<br /> <br /> Viele lustige, spannende Nachmittage<br /> haben wir mit &quot;Test Drive 2&quot; verbracht,<br /> bis, na ja, eines Tages, keine Ahnung<br /> warum, meine Originaldisk seinen Dienst<br /> versagte. Und das schlimme daran war,<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> dass ich keine Sicherheitskopie besa&amp;szlig;,<br /> weil der Kopierschutz meiner Version<br /> einfach nicht zu knacken war. Das war<br /> mehr als &amp;auml;rgerlich, das war sogar SEEHR<br /> &amp;Auml;RGERLICH !!! Spiel weg, alle Rekorde<br /> weg (damals habe ich mir noch nichts<br /> aufgeschrieben!)...<br /> <br /> Heute, 20 Jahre sp&amp;auml;ter, gibt es zum<br /> Gl&amp;uuml;ck Internet und somit bin auch ich<br /> mittlerweile wieder im Besitz von &quot;Test<br /> Drive 2&quot;, das, von PC als D64-Datei<br /> wieder zur&amp;uuml;cktransferiert auf eine 5&quot;25-<br /> Zoll-Diskette, sich anschickt, mich er-<br /> neut in seinen Bann zu ziehen. Es geht<br /> doch nichts &amp;uuml;ber das echte Retrofeeling,<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> fern ab von Emulatoren und PCs. Neue<br /> Rekorde braucht das Land, egal ob mit<br /> Ferrari, Porsche oder Co. Ich bin zwar<br /> etwas eingerostet (kein Wunder, nach<br /> fast 20 Jahren Pause!), aber voller Mut.<br /> Welches Auto soll ich nehmen ? Welche<br /> Landschaft ab&quot;driven&quot; ? Fragen &amp;uuml;ber<br /> Fragen. Hm, ich nehme dann doch erst<br /> einmal den Ferrari... Dann wollen wir<br /> mal.......VOLLGAS!!!
