you all knew about the party held from<br />
26-29 june in sams0/denmark.. and what<br />
was written on the invitation-paper<br />
was almost unbelievable.. and it was<br />
too good to be true! it turned out to<br />
be one big lie!!<br />
here is a party report containing lots<br />
of facts and lists...<br />

on the 25th of june,bleze+maniac+me of<br />
brutal and r.c.s./legend drove to the<br />
partyplace. arriving here,some guys<br />
were here allready. we went to the<br />
hurricane guys and asked some things.<br />
then we went to the c64 hall and we<br />
started to put all the things together<br />
and changed the hall a bit.. while we<br />
were setting up the sound and visual<br />
equipment we found out that it was all<br />
pretty old and bad.. the sound,could<br />
hardly reach a loud level and the<br />
screen was way too small!!! we went<br />
to the amiga guys,and complaint like<br />
hell,because they had super hifi sound<br />
and lasercontrolled screen equipment.<br />
they said,that we could "fuck off" and<br />
solve it ourselves!! we tried to find<br />
better equipment,but the amiga dudes<br />
did not want to give us any money at<br />
all,but besides that,there was only 1<br />
of those lasercontrolled displayers on<br />
the whole island,and guess who had it?<br />
so,there was nothing we could do about<br />
it... we knew this was not going to<br />
be liked at all,but we hoped for the<br />
best.. when it was dark,it turned out<br />
to be not that worse at all...<br />
a good thing for us was that only a<br />
couple of ferries went to the island,<br />
so everybody came at the same time and<br />
not spread out.. soon the place<br />
started to fill up.. the following<br />
people were present.. (we're sure we<br />
missed some of you!)<br />

the party itself was quite okay and you<br />
could buy al kind of food,drinks and<br />
candy only about 200 meters away..<br />
lots of pizzas were eaten and many<br />
went to the beach! the party kept<br />
going on and on friday evening the<br />
football match between germany/denmark<br />
was shown on the big screen.. lots of<br />
guys were watching and when the second<br />
goal for denmark got scored they went<br />
completely nuts and all were singing<br />
"auf wiedersehen,deutschland"...<br />
the atmosphere really was good at this<br />
time and everybody (except germans)<br />
was happy.. the next day a really<br />
dangerous stunt took place!<br />
ecco/x-factor was walking on the roof<br />
of the building and for some reason he<br />
fell through one of the windows.<br />
he fell about 3.5 meters and landed on<br />
the garderobe. this was completely<br />
smashed,but if he had missed it,some-<br />
thing else would have been smashed!!<br />
also the game competition was held<br />
this day.. lots of guys were playing<br />
to be the best in the game camelot had<br />
made for us.. it was one of those<br />
"kill your joystick" kinda games like<br />
daily thompson and combat school...<br />
it was quite nice to see all those<br />
guys sweating to make it to the end of<br />
this pretty tough game...<br />
thanx must go to the cameloters for<br />
giving it to us!!<br />
all went fine till the competitions..<br />
i must say,that the we really fucked<br />
this up... the competitions were ment<br />
to start at 20.00 so we went to the<br />
amiga guys at around 19.00 to get the<br />
equipment.. they had finished their<br />
competitions,but for some stupid<br />
reason we could not take it.. we did<br />
everything we could,even trying to<br />
take it without permission,but we<br />
failed.. the result was that we had<br />
to use the fucking lame visual and<br />
audial equipment we had from the<br />
beginning.. okay,people didn't really<br />
like it,but we survived this part..<br />
the showing of the musics went fine,<br />
till nr.12...<br />
here one of the brutalers,loaded nr.15<br />
instead of nr.12 and the troubles<br />
began!!! we wrote on the screen which<br />
music it actually was,but still lots<br />
of people voted for the numbers of<br />
tunes we loaded,simply ignoring what<br />
we were writing!! all this caused a<br />
lot of chaos and we showed the dir of<br />
musics so everybody could figure out<br />
his votes.. then after some time,we<br />
started showing the pictures of the<br />
graphics competition.. after these<br />
were shown,we found out that some<br />
amiga guy had forgotten to turn on the<br />
colors of the transmitter so all the<br />
pictures shown on the big screen were<br />
black'n'white!! also lots of guys<br />
missed some of the first pictures as<br />
they were outside when we started the<br />
show.. now we were really desperate<br />
and we wanted to do atleast one compo<br />
without any errors!! as lots of demos<br />
were given after the deadline,and we<br />
didn't feel like being too hard on the<br />
makers,we couldn't test all of them..<br />
result was that the first demo fucked<br />
up right away!! as it was the one by<br />
"offence" we asked if any of the<br />
offence guys could come and show the<br />
demo himself.. from this moment it<br />
all went fucking good!! all the demos<br />
were shown without much problems and<br />
the atmosphere returned to good!!<br />
after seeing the 'light' demo,lots of<br />
c64 guys in the amiga hall shouted<br />
that they should be disqualified for<br />
taking part with an old demo..<br />
it's true! they took part with the<br />
100% version of brutality which only<br />
contained 2 new parts and 1 new music!<br />
the lighters said it contained some<br />
new music and graphics... well,i do<br />
not know what you understand under new<br />
graphics,but i.....k that is a new pic<br />
or logo and not only a 'fixed' logo.<br />
for instance the logo in the fli-tech-<br />
tech part should be new.. so,we did<br />
disqualify light and wrote this on the<br />
big screen.. we were expacting the<br />
lighters to show up soon,and so they<br />
did.. they were really pissed and we<br />
were told to be hearing from them<br />
again... but we did not really cared<br />
and the lighters went away again..<br />
we were quite happy about it that all<br />
seemed to be no big problem anymore...<br />
the next day it was monday and now the<br />
banks were open so we could get the<br />
money to pay the ones that won the<br />
compos... but then the damage-report<br />
came.. due to the big stunt of ecco<br />
and the trashing of the school,by some<br />
real vandalists we found out that the<br />
costs to fix all that was about 50.000<br />
dk.. also the phonebill was delivered<br />
and had the nice number of 3.000 dk...<br />
as only amiga guys had been calling<br />
out,we said they had to take that<br />
money of their prizes... that was all<br />
fine with them.. they went to the<br />
bank,or they acted like it,because<br />
when they returned,they said there was<br />
no money at all,left for the prizes!!<br />
now we got fucking mad!!! we told<br />
them,that if they didn't want to pay<br />
any of the prizes,we would trash the<br />
place,so that they had to pay much<br />
more than the money for prizes.. they<br />
got a bit afraid and finally some guys<br />
got their money...<br />
then we had to left the building for<br />
what it was and went home without<br />
cleaning any of the mess...<br />

that's all there was to the competitions<br />
and as you can see,there was fucking<br />
much competition!!<br />
there were alltogether 29 musics,28<br />
pictures and 18 demos...<br />
and ofcourse,all of the contributions<br />
were shown... we are not like those<br />
lighters who th..k they can decide<br />
between good and bad!!<br />
maybe some say,this party was one big<br />
flop,and maybe it was.. but i know<br />
that lots of guys had a good time up<br />
here and if you.....k you could do a<br />
better one,then just try it and see<br />
how much can go wrong!!<br />
but if you want to arrange a party..<br />
please do it only for the c64!!<br />
any sort of cooperation party with the<br />
amiga will go wrong,as those amiga<br />
dudes th..k they own everything!!<br />
just look at parties like "horizon",<br />
"dominators+upfront"... in those days<br />
it was mostly the c64 ruling around<br />
and not the fucking lame amiga!!<br />
