some hot demos and so i'm here to<br />

okay,i will start with...<br />

this demo contains some parts which were<br />
made for 'hip hop 5' which was never<br />
released,and still are worth showing.<br />
here follow the reviews for each part.<br />

intro:before starting there's an info<br />
screen which gives some facts for<br />
the demo... the tune here is old<br />
but cool. always press c= to go to<br />
the next part!<br />
a cool music starts to play,an<br />
upscroller with a cool 2x1 charset<br />
starts moving up,with breaks now<br />
and then,giving you credits,greets<br />
and memberstatus...<br />

part1:nice tune with a scroll in a cool<br />
charset. on top of the screen<br />
moves a box with in it pieces of<br />
a cool hires logo...<br />
this is called hires-square-line-<br />
crunching and looks rather cool,<br />
except for the sinus in which the<br />
box moves...<br />

part2:a fucking cool,satiric,picture of<br />
SYLVESTER STALONE is shown with a<br />
really kicking tune!!<br />
on top of the screen appears a,too<br />
slow x-ax turning,1x1 scroller...<br />
after some time hiresoverlay-plots<br />
(in sprites?) move over the piccy<br />
in cool circle sinus.<br />

part3:a tv is shown with underneath it<br />
8 tables for controlling the cool<br />
plotter yet to come...<br />
down on the screen is a small 1x1<br />
scroll with the usual bla!<br />
on the tv-screen is bouncing an<br />
animated world-sprite...<br />
the routine is said to use dot-<br />
splits,so it is possible to have<br />
hires SINGLE color plots on a<br />
MULTI color hires picture...<br />
it's also said there're no sprites<br />
used except for the world-sprite,<br />
but if you turn all sprites OFF,<br />
the tv-sides are gonne! hmm...<br />
cool tune though and it also looks<br />
nice!! (with sprites ON,that is!)<br />

part4:a great tune starts the show,a<br />
little scroller enters the screen.<br />
now a big box is moving over the<br />
screen with in it an,ALSO moving,<br />
hires picture. again no sprites<br />
are used,but why goes the box<br />
white if you put #$01 at $d026?<br />

part5:256 realtimehires plots!<br />
under this a 1x1 scroll and totaly<br />
down a cool 'total eclipse' logo<br />
built out of a focus charset.<br />
this music simply rules!!<br />

part6:a 2-screen wide swinging hires<br />
logo/picture is filling the entire<br />
screen...<br />
over this moves a 2x1 scroller...<br />
the music is really nice and fits<br />
great to the part...<br />

part7:a cool tune plays with a not so<br />
nice logo down on the screen!<br />
a spritescroll bounces onto the<br />
screen. now 92 dots showing DDT 92<br />
move in pre-calculated sinusses.<br />
this part is the last one...<br />

as you could have read in some parts,<br />
there were sprites used when it was<br />
said there weren't used any...<br />
i think people have the right to know<br />
how it's really done,just like the<br />
'singlecolour scroll over multicolour<br />
hires picture' by CREST,which was said<br />
to use no sprites,but used sprites<br />
for sure!!<br />
anyway,i don't think it matters how<br />
good it's coded,but how cool it looks,<br />
that's what counts...<br />
for instance:make rasterbars in $d020<br />
by using sideborder-sprites is nice<br />
coding,but really stupid!!<br />

this is yet the second demo in a short<br />
time period...<br />
it contains 5 parts which look like...<br />

some text flashes on some moving<br />
stars...<br />
a title-picture is shown and more<br />
text comes...<br />

part1:a great picture with over it a<br />
'vsn' sprite logo and "smokerings"<br />
sprite under it moving in some<br />
weird ways with rastercolours<br />
behind in the sprites...<br />
in the downborder is an unexpanded<br />
scroller with 4 colours in it!<br />
you can control the scroll with<br />
a joystick in port 2!<br />
if you press fire,the computer'll<br />
count 'colourwaves'.<br />
this looks really cool,though some<br />
might look a bit hacky!<br />

part2:a spritescroller with an original,<br />
but great,charset starts the show.<br />
then 128 3x2 bobs enter the screen<br />
in a turbo sinus. (i wonder why it<br />
are boxes? don't have to ORA eh!?)<br />

part3:a cool 'vision' logo is on the<br />
screen with a mega dypp scroller<br />
on top of the screen. over this<br />
goes a 16 spritemultiplexer.<br />
the scroll will also contain some<br />
colours for each word...<br />
there's a little bug,left between<br />
the logo and the dypp.<br />
the tune is nice...<br />

part4:very nice 'Uision' logo on top<br />
with 2 rasterlines underneath...<br />
between these lines appears a<br />
sideborder snurkel-scroller with<br />
animated star-sprites behind it.<br />
there's a little bug in the right<br />
sideborder...<br />
in the upperborder also move some<br />
star dots from left to right.<br />
again a nice tune...<br />

offence was going to release on the<br />
third of februari.<br />
well,i haven't seen this demo yet,but<br />
here i am to give you a review of this<br />
small announcement-demo as it is<br />
surtenly worth to be reviewed!!<br />

it first gives some credits...<br />
now a great (digi) music is playing<br />
and on the screen is a big OFFENCE<br />
logo with on top of it a 'remember'<br />
logo and a moving 'do you' logo.<br />
over the offence logo will come some<br />
small logos of SHAPE,BEYOND FORCE,<br />
BONZAI which were never used (?)...<br />
after you've seen all logos there will<br />
come a great 'offence'logo,which looks<br />
as it is fli but it's hires!,with a<br />
great singlecolour logo under it.<br />
the music gets spooky,but after that<br />
it get's normal again...<br />
