d: well there is not too much you don't<br />
already know, but here goes again.<br />
i have five children all grown up!<br />
i have eight grandchildrens too! i<br />
do not work now, but my wife ANN<br />
works full time. i am overweight<br />
with staying at the 64 everyday!<br />

b: how and when did you start your<br />
computer life?!?<br />
<br />
d: i bought my 64 in late 1983, when i<br />
had to finish full time working, not<br />
for playing game, but to program<br />
(laugh!!), when i found i could do<br />
very little with! i got some tape<br />
games to play! i started cracking<br />
them to use on turbo tape to save<br />
loading time!<br />

b: what is the fuss about you leaving<br />
dominators?!?<br />
<br />
d: well no fuss as far as i'm concerned<br />
i left because of the lace of<br />
co-operation within the group and<br />
also i got some wierd phone talks<br />
from australia and europe slagging<br />
me because a certin member in 'dom'<br />
was cashing in 35 dollars to allow<br />
aussies to join the group, enough<br />
was enough! i'm no angel but i<br />
thought that was over the top! i<br />
still have good friends in 'dom'!<br />
with who i am still in contact with!<br />

b: how is the english scene according<br />
to you?!?<br />
<br />
d: i recron the english scene is at<br />
it's lowest ever on the 64, only<br />
'TALENT' and 'DEADLINE' are the<br />
current recornised english groups,<br />
we have not made a good start as<br />
everyone knows but TALENT can hold<br />
their own with all the good euro<br />
groups! long gone are the days of<br />
ZENITH, IKARI, FUSION, DCS, and<br />
others, who a couple of years ago<br />
were fighting to be u.k. no.1!<br />

b: if you could change something in the<br />
scene what it be?!?<br />
<br />
d: well i suppose the 64'ere is coming<br />
to an end gradally, but i would<br />
certainly like to see more software<br />
appearing! also more people telling<br />
the truth! (i hope you are reading<br />
this 'trisect')!<br />

b: how do you look upon the mags<br />
presents today?!?<br />
<br />
d: there are far too many mags around<br />
present! most of them! i like to see<br />
a mag similar to GAMERS GUIDE, but<br />
that is always going to upset<br />
someone!<br />

b: what are you doing besides<br />
computering?!?<br />
<br />
d: lots of housework! lots of votesheet<br />
filling and railway photography when<br />
the weather permits it, i also like<br />
the odd pint!<br />

b: as far i'm concerned you should be<br />
one of the 'older' men in the scene?<br />
how is it to be amoung all us<br />
youngsters, does your wife ever<br />
complain about your time infront of<br />
your 64?!?<br />

d: well first i will say that 99<br />
procent of my computer is when my<br />
wife is at work! i very rally touch<br />
it in the evenings which i spend<br />
with my whife and family!<br />
i don't feel odd amongst the younser<br />
guys! i get on very well with most<br />
of them, i get the odd one ragging<br />
me from time to time but i can take<br />
it all in good part, i'm not easily<br />
offended and i'm doing what i like<br />
the best even though i may not be<br />
good at it! i take computering as<br />
fun and i'm not trying to compete<br />
with anyone!<br />

b: who is the best in your eyes when<br />
it comes to:<br />
<br />
cracking, demos, swapping, mags,<br />
music, artist and overalls?!?<br />
<br />
d: now that's a nasty question, it<br />
could get me some real enemies, so i<br />
will answer it by saying that i<br />
respect anyone who i can do any of<br />
these things successfully!<br />

b: who is to be blamed if the 64 will<br />
die?!?<br />
<br />
d: commodore, for bringing out the<br />
amiga and the software houses who<br />
have deserted the 64!<br />
<br />
b: have you ever had troble with the<br />
post, cops or what ever?!?<br />
<br />
d: no never! just having to pay on the<br />
sendings has been the worst problem!<br />
<br />
b: now you got the chance to greet your<br />
best friends...<br />
<br />
d: i have over 100 contacts! most of<br />
them are good friends also so i will<br />
greet them all!<br />

b: what are your future plans?!?<br />
<br />
d: at my age it is difficult to make<br />
future plans, but i will say that<br />
when the 64 scene dies compleetly<br />
then i will quit also!<br />
<br />
b: now let's have some final words to<br />

d: well i would like to apologise to<br />
all my contacts for the poor quality<br />
of warez done by DEADLINE since we<br />
began in early november! i only hope<br />
we can put this right in 1992!<br />
oh yes, finaly, some guys think that<br />
when you get 20 you are over the top<br />
and too old to even own a computer<br />
my answer to them is.. learn to walk<br />
before you run, and use your head,<br />
not your mouth!<br />
