this time we have a nice interview with
MAC of CREST! now start reading!

r: hi MAC! please tell us something
about yourself?!?

c: yep! my real name is marc. i was
born on july 6th,1975 in my home
town lippstadt! i'm now 16 years
old and 1,73m tall! i've got brown
hair and brown eyes! my main hobby
is my c64 (ofcause), but i also like
playing table tennis, listening to
some cool music, going on parties,
watching good films .....

r: for how long do you have your c64
and which groups have you been in?!

c: i have my computer for ca.4 years
now (i got it in october'87)! first
i was in some lame and unknown
groups! then at the end of 1989 i
joined the group 'SAGA CONNECTION'
as graphician! my graphix were
really bad at that time, but after
some time my graphix became better
and better! later saga died and
OCEAN STUDIOS was formed! but i
didn't like that group and me and
pat/ocean std. left! in february
this year pat visited goldrush and
xayne! after he had shown them our
graphix, he asked if we could join
and they agreed! that's it!

r: what is your job in CREST?!?

c: i'm one of the four graphicians in
gbf design! i did some graphix for
the ICE CREAM CASTLE and i'm working
on some graphix for our next demo
now, which will come out very soon!
i also have got some cool contacts
(around 30)! new ones are always
welcome, but only TOP graphicians,
coders or musicians. or TOP-ELITE
groups!

r: what is a LAMER in your eyes?!?

c: in my eyes a lamer is somebody who
talks shit and spreads false news to
the mags (e.g.ANTICHRIST/OMG)! it's
also very lame from somebody to re-
lease games and tools by other peo-
ple before they were sold! 4 example
the game skidz by crept of flash!
it was released and spread by omg
before it was sold! how lame,eh?
lamers are also the ones, who are
only able to do a lame discmag or
to code lame demos and paint lame
graphics!

but i like lamers, coz they always
supply me with empty disx (hehe...).

r: how many members are there in
CREST and what are their jobs?!?

c: after weasel and deejay left us and
zoolook and xaver quit the scene we
have now 9 members!

gbf design is the graphic-label of
crest and stands for GUM BEAR FRONT
design! members are:-VIP
-PAT
-SLICE
-MAC

we also have a musician in denmark
called: O'NEILL!
his tunes are really great!
(ed. yes, i know!)

r: do you have any girl-friend? if yes
then tell us something about her!!

c: no, at the moment i don't have
girl-friend!

r: what is your favourite...

c: food..........italian food
drink.........COCA COLA rules

r: do you have any future plans?!?

c: yes, i would like to do graphix for
some games in future! so send me
your offers please (you can find my
adress somewhere in this mag)!

r: what do you think about the scene
nowdays?!?

c: the c64 scene is the best scene for
sure,but it has been much better sum
years ago. there are TOO MANY LAMERS
in the scene now, which wanna become
famous by doing a lame disc mag!
but there were quite a lot of copy
parties in the last months and that
is good to keep the scene alive!

r: if you could change something in the
scene.. what would you change?!?

c: yep, i would rebuild all those
legends like horizon, upfront, bones
success, contex, 2000ad ......, but
that's ofcause impossible!

r: what do you think about mags?!?

c: most mags are lame coded, have lame
graphix and sounds (e.g. r'n r) or
contain some lame texts! but some
mags are really cool! the best are:
corruption, which is my favourite;
mamba;shock;bild zeitung;br.recall;
public scandal;hotshot;gamers g.;
sanforized;lethal news(?) and maybe
some more!

r: if crest died which group would you
then join?!?

c: if crest died? hmm ..... i don't
know! maybe one of those cool
cracking groups or another cool
demogroup. i think i wouldn't have
any problem in finding a new group.
but i hope that crest will stay for
some more years!

r: which groups do you really like?!?

c: i really like most of the cracking
groups like I+T,legend,dominators
and enigma! i also like groups like
brutal or chromance, which really
do a great job with their cracks!
the best newcomer group is for sure
CONIC! i like nearly all the cool
demogroups like LIGHT,beyond force,
PARADIZE, flash inc. ......

r: do you wanna greet somebody before
we end this interview?!?

c: yep, i greet all CRESTERS, and also
hellos to all in PARADIZE,especially
cybex,hobbit,dennis,genius,moron,
silco and dub-1. also hellos to all
my contacts and friends.

r: do you have anything more you wanna
say?!?

c: always remember:
NEVER vote for a single graphician
of gbf design! vote for whole GBF
instead! we want be in the charts
together!
