Dear world, perhaps this day was inevitable. Never did we consider the fact that all good things come to an end. But friends, they do. At the entrance of 1995, the mark of a new era, Genesis Project ceases to exist as a group, and by doing so, one of the biggest concepts through 8-bit story wanders into what you will regard as mere memories. This is no easy farewell, but indeed is an evident one, to explain, to fill in the blanks, and most important of all to salute the family that focuses on new grounds and new concepts. Few groups have managed to obtain such a strong value in the scene. Few will. Genesis Project represented the will and the dream we all had, and looking back at that very dream, we're positive it came true. Europe's number one more than a slogan, you see. It offended so many, but few, if any ever realized that the slogan we brought on represented the whole magic sphere within the core. The concept we had, was, let us say, family. With genesis project gone, a true veteran vanishes, and after 10 years, one might say we indeed have served our purpose. Without doubt, through our years, we have not only dominated the market crackwise, but seen to it to publish two of the most popular magazines ever. These are accomplishments that will be long remembered and saluted.  Where do we go from here?   Antichrist left the active part of the scene when marrying Sorceress, the female sysop of Mystic Cavern. However, he has been a steady observer since he let over the leading position to Newscopy. It was also under the alias Timelord that Antichrist formed Genesis Project back in early 1985. apart from making this group one of the biggest there ever was, he created Sex n' Crime and Propaganda magazines of great impact to whatever goes on around us. Living in New York he will now focus on his life, his wife and his highly potential career as a cartoonist. Many of you may remember him as a hassle to deal with. In a way he was, but the public relation stunt he performed is way beyond. Sorceress, our beloved sysop from the glory days will retire her observing sessions and concentrate on her family, the one she settled with Antichrist. Snacky has recently seen to it to work up and efficient Genesis on the PC along with talented people. One of the most talented crackers through all time continues his jewel performances, and while doing so, we salute him. Tyger a talent that was added in a later phase and replaced a lot of the work Snacky usually performed. Tyger today focuses on programming on the Archimedes and might very well continue on the Snes. Newscopy, who took over the group where Antichrist left off 3 years ago, will continue his career on the Commodore 64, doing so in another old group, being F4CG. the first few efforts under the new group have already been performed, Jucke, the second part of the duo that have long cruised the boards, Jucke + Newscopy, will not come along to the F4CG, believing he has provided his more intensive years in the past. However, he will not leave the scene as we see it, and will continue as your observer. Occasionally we'll also see him freelancing for Propaganda. Walker, one of the best swappers in the scene will also continue his efforts on this machine, accompanying some of the other members to F4CG. Walker will be seen a slight bit more on the boards in the future. Dr. Acid, our Finnish hacking guru who saw to it we could be out there on the boards, along with Motley, continues his task and struggle against the telecoms around the globe. However, Dr. Acid does not own a Commodore 64 any longer and can be spotted more frequently on internet than on the 8-bit boards.

The Ministry, a cracking duo of Jayce and Marcus who came into the core at a fairly late basis will continue on the Commodore 64, most likely under a new label that has yet to see light of day. We wish them good luck. Motley, still believed to be Sweden's most gifted hacker continues under F4CG along with the others that burst out from the core. People who claim he has been seduced and taken away by internet are wrong. The Commodore 64 is still an evident piece of machinery in his collection. Satan, the pride of Denmark, as we want to remember him, today has vague interest in the Commodore 64, seeing the money to make in selling pirated software for the PC and the Amiga. Ray, has been involved in producing a few games for the Commodore 64, but unfortunately the PC seduced him, and as of Christmas 1994, Ray sold his C64 leaving it behind him forever. Scope, the artist who recently has gone through critical acclaim for his work will also team up with the others in F4CG where he will continue to contribute with his artwork. LA Style, he set up his Amiga/PC/Consol/C64 board having it for Shining8 on the Amiga. He will not be providing the Commodore 64 with anything apart from the wares section on his board. Techno,  the Polish talent will continue his efforts in a yet unknown group and will also keep up his productions in the software-field. Allanon, the cracker that caused a minor fuss, will continue his efforts on the C64 under his real handle, leaving Allanon, the concept behind him for good.  Got, who returned to the scene after 2 years of absence is back on the Commodore. And will be so under F4CG. It is just a matter of time until he calls the boards again. The Punisher, who was eager to come back to the C64 after years of absence and boasted a history of supplying Genesis in the past unfortunately came to close with his Amiga, and that is probably where he will stay.

These are the members who were in the group at the ending phase. All the other members claiming to be in are not. Propaganda, the magazine that has gained incredible popularity throughout the years will still be published, and as stated else- where, it will be an independent release performed by a competent staff.  <br/><br/>

Airwolf and others were booted out of the family a long time ago and the Genesis demo releases in Denmark, December 1994, is not a Genesis production, as stated in it.  A real Genesis Project can only see light of day, if picked up and organized by Antichrist or Newscopy. All other attempts that may appear in the future are to be regarded as fakes.  Mystic Cavern can only be reopened by Sorceress, the one and only sysop.  So this is it..  As you have been glancing through the last dire pages typed down under the Genesis label, we have come to the point of no return. We are to leave. Whenever you go through your old private collection, whenever reading those old magazines you will meet Europe’s number one again. Offending, and taking the stand on this machine that none else took. The group of groups, Genesis was family. Something you will never understand. Unless you experienced it. We did. You will never forget us, and by golly you will miss us.
