wellknown recordstore WOM,because it
has a funny cover,like the package of
a CONDOM!!! in big size of coz! i of-
course had to listen to it and from da
1st minutes...BRILLIANT! they play a
kind of melidious hardcore. a little
bit softer than BAD RELIGION,but MORE
in the funnier side of live! songs li-
ke THE MORON BROTHERS,NEW BOOBS or WHE-
RE'S MY SLICE? make you feel happy on
a raining day...that's pure funcore!
the voice sounds like a queeky little
boy and is so cooool...EVERYBODY likes

EL BOSSO and THE PING PONGS (SKA!)
16.6.91 munich -babalu-

do ya know EL BOSSO? -no- but ya should
know him and his PING PONGS.they play
a mixture between ska,reggea and rock-
steady.it's the right thing for ya fee
ts.at june,the 16th,my friends(cane,
reithi and lars) and me(zwerg) went to
da BABALU,where el bosso got a gig.
at 21 o'clock we were let in and we wo
ndered why there wasn't any control.
we had to pay 15dm and one of the ping
pongs,his name was PROF.RICHIE,said he-
llo to us and we talked a bit. inside
the babalu we began to fell ill,not cau
sed by bad music,by the high prices of
beer.after an hour the band went on the
stage and began playin' very high qual-
ity SKA.they are one of da only ska-

bands which sing GERMAN text.they are
very political because they sing AGAIN-
ST FASCISM and for SKANARCHY(ed.yeah!).
but back to da concert we had been.they
played all their best songs like 'immer
nur ska','katherin','wo ist diese sta-
dt?' and 'touri' first we didnt dance
too much because there weren't so many
SKASTERS at that concert.i think there
had could be much more fun if it had
been crowdy.but we danced a lot and we
did the SKATRAIN(ed.rules!) to 'mafia
tanz'. el bosso kidded MC HAMMER'S
'feeling' (the pepsi-ad!). all in all
he and prof.richie did a lot of funny
joke between the songs.so it was a VE
RY great evening and after we bought
some faszines we went home by train at
0.00 o'clock.

SKANARCHIST/DEPREDATORS,me(rough) and
some girls went to this shit,when we
entered there were a lot of cool guys
(indies,psychos,HARDCORISTS,skasters)
and they played great music,so i ex-
pected a lot of FUN.but...the fun was
gone when the band started! it was mega
shit indie crap,no speed nor good melo
dy...bwark! i dont wanna loose more wor
ds coz this was 4 sure the worst conc-
ert i've ever been on.also skanarchist
was pissed off.the whole crowd shouted
'stop! stop!' and when they did all cr
ied 'yeaaaaaaah!' cool or what?! /rough

BAD RELIGION,THEATERFABRIK
on the 23/06/91

yeah,the day after i'm sitting here to
report about this asskickin' concert!
but let's start from the beginning...
me(ROUGH!),my girl-friend christina,
zwerg,imbecil,3 other boys'n 1 girl
went very early to the place because
the entrycards were only sold that eve
ning (no VVK?!).the sqare in front of
the hall was overcrowded of punk,hard-
corists,metallers and all the other ru
ling posses...QUITE GREAT FEELING!!!!
the foregroup was a DEATHMETAL band cal
lled NO TWIST...comment shitsound! but
the last song another singer entered da
staged and did sum cool hardcore job to
fire the crowd! a little crowd was al-
ready pogueing,but we had to hold back
our power,hehe! in a little break we
fetched some posters from the wall (eg
a MEGAKEWL gwar poster,huahua!)

then the band entered the stage and...
then the SINGER...the crowd shouted...
YEEEEEEEAAAAAH and the 1st song they
played was 'MODERN MAN'! from their la
test studio album AGAINST THE GRAIN!
phew...i pogued the first 4-5 songs th
rough the big hall and was sweat and
dead after that,yeah! imbecil couldnt
pogue coz he had an injured foot(hehe,
schadenfreude!). later on ZWERG came
down and we both pogued down the hall!
so extremely cooool... they played sma
sher after smasher and the folx pogued
and stage dived like hell,between the
songs the singer sometimes INTERVIEWED
a stagediver and kidded him a little
bit.he asked if he wants to hear HOLI
DAY IN KAMBODIA and all cried 'yeeaah!'
the first tacts of the song were play-
ed and then he said 'stop! i even dont
know this song...hahaha' fooled ya!
then we TRIED to stagedive,even my girl
friend christina did.but some guards we

re trying to hold us back,so we climbed
under stage to the other side.a certain
guy called REITI climbed the stage and
jumped in the crowd,i went up wanted to
dive,but some assfuckin' guard kicked
me back in the crowd...oops! we tried
over and over to enter the stage but im
possible...some hard guys managed it an
yway and one of'em kicked me while stag
e diving with his boot in my face...
ooergs,damaged feeling! so we turned of
f to pogue and mosh! they player around
1 1/2 hours all of their great sonx th
rough although some of'em like UNACCEPT
ABLE and QUALITY'N QUANTITY was left
out...fuck'em! but dey brought a song,i
think it was called TOMORROW,from their
SOOOON COMING NEW ALBUM BEING RELEASED
in SEPTEMBER(!!!!!). get it,folks! now
it's 11.15 am monday and i should sit
in skool now but i dont give a fuck!
i hope i brought you a good feeling ab
out the greatness of this concert...all
in all...THE FUCKIN' BEST OF EM ALL!
